Thanks everyone. My endoscopy was awful, but everything looked ok. I fainted when they cannulated me, then the sedative didn’t go into the vein, so she tried another cannula but that didn’t work either, so in the end they did it without sedative, which kicked in about as I got to recovery. Awful! The staff were fantastic though - all really lovely and caring.
B&W cat’s results came back and no cancer cells, but this doesn’t rule it out. We have lots of questions we need to ask vet and then some decisions toof make. In the meantime he’s curled up in his box and quite happy.

Thanks both. B&W cat def not out ofwoods yet, but I am feeling a lot less depressed. A gentle evening is definitely called for. Whether I’ll be graced with his furship’s snuggly presence before bedtime is up for debate, but the bedroom door will definitely remain open tonight, even if this results in less than optimal sleep.
