Morning Peeps,
Welcome to this small group of achievers
I have been lost in the ether of life and death I have neglected my presence in here and on other threads I chat with. I apologise.
Isn't it funny Naomin (I've forgotten how to hi-light a name ) how some things manage to stick? It is engrained now to keep us going in the right direction. I too have kept Tillying my change away online which I think is a god send for many. Nationwide has a good prompt when you log on to do just that. I have been averaging £30 a month and am now saving into an ISA we've got to glean as much as possible from the interest.

Hey @2Scratters it usually works by putting the @ sign before the name.
Lovely to see you back here. My tillies also go into my ISA. I had some big spends earlier in the year so my £30 a month average is also helping replace it.
Every little helps, as they say.

£29.89 total for me in November.
Happy with my round ups again. 💪2 -
Hi Peeps,
sunny day for now here and is heating up the kitchen nicely. My year has really has been off kilter of me keeping a proper eye on the pennies. Having said that the continuation of Tilly tidying is one of the ones that has remained quite steady to be fair and is tipping into savings monthly comfortably.
We will all no doubt need to continue this as our pennies that we have left after being squeezed even more will need to do much more in the coming year.
Anyone who needs to start an emergency fund this will help in attaining some of that buffer. I and others will be here in 2026 to help each other through with support and tips.

Evening Tilly Tidiers
hope you have all had a pleasant weekend getting things finished off ready for the New Year. Making budgets and finding to make ways of getting even more bits of change into a saving pot for whatever we feel the need to use it for.
I am sure we will be having more to visit here and we can support with suggestions of how we each manage to glean the pennies out to do more for us. Remember to challenge yourself, there is no failing we falter but we dust down and start again. Keep it light keep it fun.
I have still continued to round down bits of change each time I log onto internet banking (this does make it easier to get to the pennies) Also I get my bank to round up when spending too, it is small amounts but the pot does have a decent interest rate. I have never taken any money from it and it still isn't a lot of money. To the point the other week when topping up on fuel in my car the lad said OOH! you did that badly of going over the round pound by 1p, I said it was deliberate to get the 99p moved over to the stash pot
Here's to a careful with pennies 2026
