    Tarts look moreish @bubbs.
Moved on yesterday splitting the homeward journey into two, now in Clitheroe Lancs for a few days. Still struggling with SW, but weather should be better so less comfort eating.
    Have a good week all.

    Morning all,

Those tarts look amazing @bubbs. My stomach doesn’t like fats so no pastry or cream is good.

Hope the weather is better for you @maddiemay and you’re on holiday so be good when you can and get back on the plan when you get home.

According to the weather forecast this is our last day of rain before it starts to get very warm and sunny. I’m not holding my breath.

I’m about to have a sweet omelette with banana, strawberries, yoghurt and a tbsp of skinny syrup (0.5 syns).   Dinner is steak, chips, roasted tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and broccoli.
    Have a good day everyone.

Those strawberry tarts look good 😃
We arrived home last night…..according to my scales this morning I’ve gained 1 lb but am hoping to get rid of most of it before weigh in on Thursday. We had a lovely time….met a friend at NT place and she treated us to lunch before heading over to our host (a lovely, eccentric 80 year old gent who lives alone) for 3 days. We took him out for a meal the 1st evening and I’d made a meat and potato pie for the 2 nd evening….before the rest of the family arrived on Saturday. We stayed in the motorhome with the rest of the family sleeping either in the house and in tents.
We spent the weekend eating. I’d baked cakes but had portioned them into very small pieces….so even though I felt I’d had a lot, in reality I hadn’t. I did have a couple of nice ciders. Luckily the hosts daughter who organised everything foody for the weekend is on a health kick so the BbQ was chicken, salmon with lots of veg kebabs and just a few token sausages aimed at the children….none of the big fatty burgers and buns or creamy cakes. My downfall now will be the cake I brought home with me 😂

    January spends - £587.58

    Hi all,

Sorry a late post from me after being absent this weekend. We went to the housewarming and the food was amazing - chicken, salad, dahl. Did have some HM victoria sponge too but only fizzy water for me as I drove back. NGL don't know how I coped driving home through London with DH and all three adult children 3 sheets to the wind. Radio on full blast and them singing - could barely think straight. Yesterday we did a BBQ but DH put the sausages and burgers onto flaming coals so they were blackened in minutes, the pork steaks and the chicken kebabs were nice though. I drank some white wine yesterday as wasn't driving anywhere.

All this leads me to WI this morning with, wait for it......a 3.5lb loss. You really couldn't make it up. Happy obviously but baffling.

    Food today:
    B - tortilla - tinned potatoes, egg, red pepper - Free, P, S
L - BNS and chilli risotto, apple, banana - Free, S
D - LO bbq, coleslaw, tiny bit of potato salad, small glass of white wine (as work was horrendously busy, then my train was cancelled....) - going to count 10
    HEA - milk
    HEB - skinny oaty
    Syns - 10

Incredibly warm here and NWD tomorrow - taking Dad out then going WI in old town in the evening. WFH on Wednesday and covering another role as well as my own. Will be interesting!

    Have a good evening all

You have a lot going on @beanielou so not surprising. Are you still going to group? I’m going it alone and the food noise continues to challenge me. Not sure if paying for group would rein that in.

Went to bed with a headache and still have it this morning. I’m just having a cuppa and some pain relief for breakfast! Not sure what’s for breakfast yet…
