How exciting @helensbiggestfan - I am sure you will soon be settled in your new home. I was watching your namesake earlier today - unbelievably, for the first time I watched Calendar Girls - loved the film ❤️Used to find some brilliant things in our local charity shops - Sherborne (Dorset) was a great hunting ground as it is a fairly affluent area. Struggled to find anything exciting recently though. I am also in need of some transitional new clothes - have lots of winter stuff and a reasonable amount of summer items but it’s the ‘Spring’ weather that always flummoxes me. One minute it is still chilly and frosty and then really mild.
Had a lovely long Badedas bath tonight and then used some Champneys eye masks while listening to some relaxing ‘spa’ music - almost nodded off at one point 😊.4 -
Congratulations on the news about moving house.
It is a lovely sunny day here. I did just pop into a charity shop, but didn't find anything I wanted. I also need some more Spring clothes.4 -
Have you tried Vinted? Had some lovely bargains on there. Cheaper than the charity shops I find and better condition.3

I have bought a few things from there. I forgot about it. I might check there.🙂2025 GOALS

I've had a few things from there too, got a couple of really lovely hoodies recently for a fraction of the new price and only worn once or twice. Just make sure you message with any questions if you are at all unsure. The V1nted sizing describes size 14 as XL. So I always make sure that the label says 14 as I've had an XL turn up.
I also had a couple of items turn up that looked like well used CS items - I try to figure out who is selling their own stuff and who is selling stuff they've got elsewhere now.
I've started following a FB page called The Capsule Wardrobe and have got some good ideas for items to tweak my current wardrobe (just had a huge clear out so will have space/money once everything sold on V1nted).

@SandyShores - could you share the link to the FB page - I want to try and create my own capsule wardrobe and reduce the amount of clothes that I keep and hardly ever wear3
