How many times does it need to be said?

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

That's three times I've written that on this one thread.
Please don't show us any more debt collector's letters.

I know and like I typed, I'm ignoring. Calm down man.

I'm just putting the flow in so, if it happens to someone else, they can see the process and quantity of letters.

Do the AOS online on MCOL by logging in via the government gateway,  details are in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

Then,  later this week,  study the template defence by coupon mad in announcements,  once it's been updated this week,  due her removing some parts etc

Yep I will do the new template defence this week - shorter - as I'm about to go on holiday & am aware it is needed.

Is this a good enough response for Paragraph 3 in my defence?

    3. Referring to the POC: paragraph 1 is denied. The Defendant is

not indebted to the Claimant. Paragraph 2 is denied. The Defendant

does not accept that a contravention occurred on 24/12/2024, as

alleged. Whilst the Defendant was the registered keeper and

driver, paragraphs 3 and 4 are denied. The Defendant is not liable

and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms. The

quantum is hugely exaggerated (no PCN can be £170 on private land)

and there were no damages incurred whatsoever.

3.1. The Defendant briefly parked in the position alleged only to

avoid a hazardous area containing broken glass on the ground,

prioritising the safety of their children. This action was taken

reasonably and in good faith to prevent potential injury or

damage, and does not constitute a wilful or negligent breach of

    any parking terms.

@pda Thanks for starting this thread and meticulously documenting everything that's happened so far on this along with images of the letters coming through in the post.

I'm on letter 2 of a UKPC "fine" for the exact same reason in a supermarket parking lot and expect it to follow the same path as yours. Studiously ignoring everything until it gets to a claim.. Bookmarked your thread and wish you luck!
