Did you pay it within one month of the date of issue? If you did, it is clear, if not it will marked as "satisfied" and there will be problems getting credit for six years.

In most current defences v DCB Legal claims, paragraph 3 (within the 30 paragraph Template Defence) looks similar to the thread below by @shahib_02  ... just change the incident date:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6576011/cel-dcb-legal-pcn-cnbc-claim-defence-assistance-required-please

No need for more detail except in your case just add an extra paragraph to the Template Defence, AFTER the paragraph 3 shown in the link:

3.1.  (Whatever your brief facts are).

    4.  rest of the Template Defence of (30 paragraphs but DON'T copy & paste it here...please!
But re your claim form, have you done this now? Could not be easier and doesn't even need much in 3.1 unless you have something relevant to throw in like an app not working, keying error, double dip, disability (or in residential cases which always need more).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ah sorry, I forgot you'd already defended (on a point that is unlikely to work, sadly). You know what happens when because the NEWBIES thread sets all that out in the 2nd post.

    Mediation is next.

You could offer a tenner or so to end the matter (given your defence has little prospects of success). DO NOT AGREE TO PAY A THREE FIGURE SUM.

But I hope you get past Mediation without paying a penny (our advice is normally 'no offer' but you don't yet have a real defence so are on dodgier ground).

I hope after Mediation, that the local court sends you a lifeline by ordering the C to improve their Particulars and then you to amend your defence. Fingers crossed!
