NSD#17
Forced myself out of bed & did yoga. Got to read more of my book whilst eating breakfast 😀
Work went well, though think my morning pupil had been eating something like blue smarties, as quite hyper! Left work 15mins early, to go for x-ray at the hospital in town. It's now being sent to Aberdeen. Handed my complaint letter in, about the doctor at our local surgery.
Collected mum's prescription, then my boy from her flat ❤️ so good to have him home again! He wanted some shopping, but I was good & didn't buy anything.
Had a job not nodding off before tea. Me, DS1 & DH watched a couple of TV programmes, giving each other cheek when we didn't get the answer right on 1% club 😂 I got more than DH. There was a local woman on this episode too, she lives in an area with a rude name! (Rhymes with catt) Knitted the hat for another gonk.
Grateful for having DS1 home, laughter, a relaxing evening
No wind today but LOTS of rain...Use it up, wear it out

Still stuck on NSD # 9, as it was supermarket shopping today. Also went to the garden centre to get seed potatoes, shallot sets, other seeds and some wild bird food.Haven't done a lot else to be honest - horrible, wet windy weather againHaving said that, all meals were cooked from scratch at least.Grateful that we wrangled the firewood delivery yesterday when there were at least gaps in the rain, and we didn't have to do it today!5

15 NSDs now.Stayed home and cleaned and hoovered and changed all the bedding while half the residents were out.Which now means I have a mountain of laundry to do (4 loads done already), but I have a lot more mugs and bowls downstairs than I started the day with.Had lunch with DS2, it was a surprise he got up! he ate DS1s lunch as well when I wasn't looking, so I was quite glad he did not get up and come downstairs. Supper was a hodge-podge of ends of pots of olives and sundried tomatoes which magically made a really really surprisingly nice pasta sauce.DH is a coughing mess, boo!Payday is on Friday, yay!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Nsd#15 today. Another day of being too busy to spend money. Got all meetings out of the way for this week now, feel very tired and low. I blame the weather as it always gets me down when it’s dark and grey. All meals from stores. Already been paid for the month so money shuffled and plans in place for this month. Only one birthday that I buy for in February so a cheap-ish month.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #828

Found it hard to get up this morning! Managed to do yoga & Norwegian before breakfast. Pleased that my dinner today was leftovers plus a side salad, so not much prepping!
A good day at work. Chatted with a couple of people at the end of the day, then walked to the shop (managed not to trip over, as the sole at the toe if my boot had come unstuck, so flapping like a clown's shoe!). Dropped a birthday present off on my way home. Had a 10 mins nap, very deep sleep though.
Spent AGES unpicking the hem of a dress after tea, then shortened it. Followed by a long soak in the bath.
Grateful for not falling over, my friend liking her present, chats at teatime about good filmsUse it up, wear it out

Hello everyone, today I reached my NSD's goal, it's the first time in a 2 or 3 months, I think, so I'm celebrating. Apart from that, everything going on as usual, apart from an org restructure looming at work, but it will be a while before we know the details, and if (and why) we are going to be impacted.
This week I made a bit of progress on decluttering, as I gave to my colleague a bag with scented candles and wax melts, including the bespoke electrical burner for said melts. Since I moved back to a flat a few years ago (I used to have a small house with conservatory with my ex) I don't use scented candles much, same for wax melts, as I feel the space is too small for that, so I kept just a small box of my favourite scents and gave her all the rest (gave her all the melts, couldn't wait to get rid of the burner, actually!).
I have also sold a few books and a few DVD's, through a company that buys them in bulk. I've dropped off the box yesterday, so more things have left the house this week. They don't pay much per book, but having a few to send away at the same time, I was able to get a fair payment, which I will be putting together with the payout from the surveys I am doing, and will use that money to buy things (such as small house improvement things) that I will eventually have to buy at some point, but are not urgent, so they can wait until the pot is big enough. The money from Vint*d sales will also go there, from now on.
Tonight there is line dancing, but I don't feel like going. I'm considering doing some self-care things, such as a bath, doing some face masks (I have to start using the huge bath/cosmetics/etc stash I accumulated over the years), listen to a podcast, knit and watch a nice movie.
Thank you @grandmanerd for offering to do February!
