Lovely to see both old and new faces (bodies) back for 2025 👋

Brie I'm assuming you need something easy on the knees, what about swimming or chair yoga? Ive been told by the physio that I need a hip replacement so I need to take the diet serious this year or they wouldn't want operate

  • I didn't really engage last quarter and it definitely shows. Gained 4kg total. Sigh. After my mum commented on my weight at Christmas, it is a sign that I need to get started.

My challenge has always been making changes that are sustainable. I struggle badly with cravings especially when I am tired or stressed (which is a lot given an intense job).

My aim is to lose 3kg.

I am going to say 5lbs  this time. Slightly less ambitious because I wasn't very successful in the last quarter. I am now 1lb more than on my last starting date. At least I managed to maintain my weight over Christmas. My starting weight this time is 11st 11lb (75.2 Kilos). My weigh day will be Tuesday.

Another one trying yet again to lose that half a stone.  I am convinced I've def shed the 2 pounds to get me to the stone mark and have dipped down 2 - 3 below that but for some dang reason I've not kept it off.  If anyone thinks of a good excuse please let me know!!!

So the aim now is 7 lower to get me a bit more likely to get smiled at when I finally get knee consultant sometime in 2026.
I know how frustrating it is! I did lose about 7lb initially but I can't get any further than 11st 9 (74.1 kilos). I have reached that point more than once but then it creeps up again. I haven't got the excuse of a knee or hip problem.

    Happy New Year everyone 🎆

Evening spent with friends, unfortunately they were determined to finish all their Christmas chocolates, mince pies etc.

    Diet starts again tomorrow🫣

    Happy New Year everyone
Just stood on the scales .
Oh dear ,Oh dear ,Oh dear !
inspired by Roundtuit I shall consistently carry on ( that’s the wrong word nut can’t think of the correct one )

I will start with 8 lbs  this quarter please Brambling .
if I do that consistently I would look so much better in a year and it would improve my fitness and hopefully lessen the angina .

Hi @Brambling - please can I join? Would like to lose 25lb in the year, so let's say 10lb this quarter to give me a head start - on holiday in April so would like to be a bit more svelte for that!

Weigh ins will be a Wednesday given that today is Wednesday!

Have to go for lunch and finish last night's food today, then am away this weekend, so honestly, I don't anticipate losing much this week.
