Floriana Red Ted has kept his colour better than poor Blue Ted.
But Blue Ted can sit up, Red spends most of his time laying down now, He found his early years, where he was loved vigorously, quite exhausting and hasn’t yet recovered.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

My teddy is orange. He is tucked away somewhere nice and cosy as I pulled all his fur out little by little when I was a wee nipper and he is now completely bald. I will not be sharing a photo in order to spare his modesty.
Reading pile has dramatically reduced after I gave up on life in general today and needed something quiet to do. Sometimes it just feels too much like hard work just to get the simplest of things done. Anyway, lots of paper into recycling bin as a result.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday continued: Well that was painless - at least for me 🙊 Passport applied for & DH paid for it 😉 Now I just need to package & post my old passport which I will do as soon as I find a sturdy envelope…….. no joy so added to shopping list. As I was in paperwork mode, I dealt with today’s post 🙂 which generated 0.5” of shredding/recycling of documents (2120) Weather has been very depressing today as it has rained on & off all day 😞 DH & DSis went shopping 18:00 hoping to avoid the traffic but no such luck so were out for almost 2 hours 😞 Dinner was quiche & boiled new potatoes for DSis whilst DH & I had pan fried sea bream 😋, boiled potatoes & peas. Wudupa.
2121 - 2123 Kitchen recycling, cardboard box, lidless takeaway container - recycled
2124 - 2126 Kitchen & lr detritus, last piece of tyre - binned
Green_hopeful, fingers crossed that you can keep your son’s ‘stuff’ corralled & that it isn’t there too long 🤞
Brie, the concept is interesting 🤔 but am thinking that the bulk of the hour was probably spent cleaning as the shelves did look very grubby 😉
Lovely post suzeesu2000 😊 Hopefully there will be some reasonable weather so you can finish the garden work 🤞 I am also keeping everything crossed that This “DH was running through all the things he wants to declutter - oh my. I’m not complaining, I’m very happy that he wants to get rid.” translates from words to action, with your DH doing the bulk of the work 🤞🙏
QueenJess, sorry to hear that you are “still not feeling great” 😞 but I do like your positive spin ☺️ Great decluttering by both you & DD 👏 I am sending your DD a medal 🏅 to add to her other 4 😊
I was doing so well at catching up with the cheerleading but spent the evening knitting & watching TV ☹️ Sleep tight 😴

A big declutter day on Thursday. All of my craft stuff has been distributed across the dining room for weeks. It had to be sorted when sister and niece came to lunch from Fareham and Cardiff. A lot of stuff got moved upstairs and still needs sorting (( it's that time of year when we realise how small our house is and we move stuff around as and when) it is this situation that I would like to stop as Christmas always brings more stuff into the house!!wouldn't it be lovely to have one big empty cupboard which could house presents and extra craft stuff for Christmas? Anyway one bin bag of off cuts, cardboard packaging and random bits of card and shapes no longer needed. Gone. Also have delivered one large Hessian sack of tree branches that I collected on walks in January and have been drying out for daughters log burner.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £35.96 spent, 144 made and 5 mended,

Hi, loving Teddy tales and pics. My Teddy is white, a polar bear. He is in very good condition considering his age. I don't think he was the object of my love as a child. I remember having a bendy tiger, sort of rubber with a wire skeleton, he was my favourite. I also loved Susan a life size baby doll which my Step Grandma gave me. Her friend had a wool shop and the dolls were used in the window to model baby knits. The tiger long ago disintegrated but I still have Susan. I also had a Pelham puppet, never got the hang of it. My Grandad made Susan a lovely rocking crib. My absolute best thing was playing libraries. My Dad and Grandad made me book cases and I spent hours being a librarian, for years!
It was wild here yesterday. A lot of trees down. We have discovered that our landing window leaks in heavy rain.
Mr V broke a mirror yesterday. So that was decluttered.
We are all packed, just the small issue of getting the cats to the cattery.
See you in a couple of weeks. Take care Vx:15 -
Vulpix - Hope you are successful with the cats and that you have a lovely relaxing holiday 😊13

Have a great holiday @vulpix
Managed to get to a meeting this morning that I have missed the last few months due to being away etc. I need to go Monday morning and get fruit and salad bits for bring and share. DGD4 (13) has just been round and hoovered through, washed kitchen floor and helped change beds for which I give her some extra pocket money. Sox was a great help - sat on each bed as we stripped them off and clung with his claws when we tried to tip him off. I opened the new ottoman bed to get bedding out and he immediately made himself at home refusing to get out until I rattled the treats box in kitchen. I've done yet another jigsaw puzzle. Not nice here cold and wet.

1125 Decluttered money to dental hygienist - 25 mile drive yesterday was horrid with rain, spray and huge puddles
1126 Another puzzle in CS bag
1127 Sorted through stocking gifts I have bought and labelled some individual bags
A few smallish frogs to do tomorrow but I may start writing Christmas money envelopes and some overseas cards.2025 Decluttering Campaign 1225/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅🏅) 🌟🌟🌟💐

Loving everyones various “teds” ☺️ makes me all nostalgic..
Mine are Pink Ted, Panda Pops & Tigger.. (handmade by my mum and nan) all very well loved and now stored in a sealed box. Pink Ted still has his hospital bracelet on from when I was very little and he came into surgery with me 😉
Decluttered money yesterday.. Big £££ on a part after being rescued by the R*C after breaking down on our way to a weekend break! ☹️
Have had a fab bargain haul in the charity shop today so that’s cheered me slightly.. Will locate the same number of items to leave (either on Vinty or to a Charity Shop) when home.
Have a fab holiday Vulpix (& Mr V too) ☺️"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇🥇14 -
From left to right we have Bear, Piglet, Aloysius, Mr BunBun and a rabbit. (all looking very scruffy indeed!)
Bear gets sent travelling whenever one of us (which means really just me) goes off somewhere without the other for more than a couple of days. I know I'm lying when asked if I packed my own suitcase as I know that he has snuck in somehow without my help.
Piglet was made by me from a National Trust kit 40 years back and my OH has always said I put the legs on backwards and as a result poor Piglet is crippled. (OH is wrong and Piglet is just fine).
Aloysius, OH's unnamed one eyed bear from childhood, acquired his name when OH was at Oxford just when Brideshead Revisited was showing on the telly. Please note the nice warm knitted scarf & cricket vest (courtesy of MiL) in the OH's team colours.
Mr BunBun was the only stuffed toy from my childhood that didn't scare the boohoos out of me - I still consider the others horrendously ugly but blame that on the idea that they are my brothers' toys. He's made of sheepskin and has had emergency surgery on his toes (glue on felt) where they had been chewed on and were beginning to leak!
And the (unnamed) rabbit is a repository of "stuff" that perhaps should be decluttered. He is currently sporting a random feather, a Lindt chocolate reindeer ribbon and my OH's original engagement ring on his left ear. (me being a feminist there was no way I was going to have an engagement ring and him not. neither of us wear any of the originals (fat fingers) so there's no issue with the rabbit getting a bit of bling).
Meanwhile the lovely old-fashioned brush and mirror set was bought second hand for me by the OH when we were in our first year or two of marriage. Horrified me somewhat as I would never use someone else's hairbrush and never have in 38+ years, but the mirror can be handy on occasion. Two very "cobwebbed" items that I can't declutter.
