Thanks for the medal 🏅 Mrs SD! 2 bags to the CS this morning and then came home with a new mirror for the loo. It’s not yet in the wall but once the tiling is done (and once I’ve found a tiler to do the tiling) I can work out exactly how high to put it without making me twitchy about proportions.

Thank you for my 💐Mrs SD, it was indeed financially traumatic!
No finished decluttering today, although I did start on sorting out the children’s wardrobes but didn’t make much headway.
Went to pick up a new bike for DS1 that was on our local freebies site, it will need some TLC and maybe some new tyres but it is solid and hopefully will last him a while. Getting it into the car was another story but DD and I got there in the end! Other than that a quiet Sunday, DH got a new airfryer this week, he is happily trying out new recipes in it, so I didn’t have to make dinner either!

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday is a bright sunny day with a forecast high of 25°C, low 13°C & humidity 65% I misread my watch & thinking it was 11:00 I got up, washed & dressed - it was in fact only 10:00 so I am feeling a little bleary eyed & sleepy 🥱 There is a reason for getting up relatively early - we are going out shopping as I need an outfit (including footwear) for a wedding next Saturday, DSis needs shoes to complement her outfit & DH is just supporting us. This will be torture as I loathe shopping for clothes & shoes 😢 We left about 12:15, bus to CW then Jubilee Line to Stratford & DLR one stop to Stratford International & then short walk into Westfield Shopping Centre. I was correct, it was torture - way too warm & so many people …. everywhere plus also unsuccessful 😔 I found one dress I liked but when I went to try it on, it had an attached slip & very narrow shoulders so couldn’t get it over my head ☹️ We did go in half a dozen shops before giving up & I only bought an olive green top in 2 sizes for me & the same top for DSis. DH treated us to coffee/tea & sandwiches before we headed home. Back indoors by 16:45. Dinner was pork steaks, mash & cabbage 😋 Wudupa.

Excellent decluttering & packing vulpix 👏 I especially liked This “Deleted all the emails to do with Mum's house.” 🥳 Good luck with today’s planned packing 🍀 although I do think that you should incorporate lots of rest & relaxation to counteract Fomo’s early wake up call 😉
Excellent work Bananabreadyum 👏 Fingers crossed that all your listings get snapped up 🤞
Excellent work QueenJess 👏 Isn’t it great when one task leads to another & you have time to get it done rather than adding to a To Do list 🥳 Congratulations on breaking through 4,000 items decluttered 👏 a Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way. I will keep everything crossed that your parents show restraint & only bring one item per child 🤞 😉
Great work on the family tree suzeesu2000 👏 As you find it therapeutic it sounds like a perfect way to relax on a Sunday 🥹
Excellent work Willowtree222 👏 I will keep my fingers crossed that DD’s wardrobe stays tidy for more than a week 🤞😊
Excellent decluttering florianatwobob 👏 Two bags of items out & one single needed item in 🥳Hopefully your search for a ruler will generate more decluttering 🤞
StickyTheStickInsect, you might not have made much headway with the children’s wardrobes but at least you have seen what you need to do 😊 Well done on finding & collecting the bike 😊
All caught up so off to bed. Sleep tight everyone 😴

Mrs SD, I don't like the shopping centre experience either. I couldn't say when the last time I went to one was. Shame we are not closer, I have loads of clothes you could choose from. Probably not suitable but you would be memorable.
We still don't have a date to move but we have signed the contracts. I am confident that everything will be as ready as it can be but I would really like to be able to book the removal guy.It actually feels like it's a reality now.
Went off piste a bit yesterday and did loads of batch cooking. Big pan of soup, massive pan of bolognese and some yummy creamy mushroom pasta. That will be a big time saver this week.
What I did do was a lot of washing up, 3 loads of washing, line dried, folded ,put away. Packed 2 boxes. Took all the ceiling lamp shades down. Knitted the last 4 squares for a baby blanket and started knitting a hat with the left over wool.
More packing today. It's getting more difficult as it's big, odd size things now which are left. I am getting a bit demob happy with the packing now. I think everything will just get packed and possibly de cluttered at the other end.
My son is coming Wednesday. He is the tallest in the family so he can reach me a picture down off the stairs without the faff of bringing a ladder in.

I didn't do anything much yesterday either @suzeesu2000. I've done my family tree too although I haven't worked on it for a while. Some of mine is in Scotland which is easier to do as there is so much info on the certificates plus you can look at them on line and print them off instead of handing over money and waiting like the rest of the UK ones.
I'm making a crochet hexi cardigan for my next door neighbour so I did do some of that. I also played chase in the garden with the kitten which is really funny as she also likes to creep up behind us and grab us. She never uses claws, it's just a light tap.
I watched some youtube videos by "space maker method" which I enjoyed because all the "befores" were way worse than my house. My absolute favourite one though was by Clutterbug and it's THIS one. The "after" was so good given how bad it was to start. I have ADHD so Clutterbug gives me hope 😄

I especially like the site "Scotlands People" which has been a mine of information. Not the cheapest site but, as you rightly say, a lot of info you can copy & print yourself rather than the quite expensive options.Been out in the yard again while there was a good stiff breeze so I didn't overheat. Got all the hanging baskets and wall baskets emptied - cripes I have a LOT! Emptied the big plant pots - they are about 16" tall. Got all the dirt & stuff into the bin ready for collection.Stacked all the pots and containers in one spot ready to go as well.Next job - which will probably take several days for me to complete - is to empty the raised beds. No idea of how or where I am going to get rid of the orgaic compost within but, will work that out in due course. I have asked about but seems no one wants it.My lovely postie collected a large parcel to go to mum this morning. My friend came and collected 2 weeks worth of newspapers for her rabbits - they like a good read! She uses the papers to line the cages as she runs a rescue for rabbits & guinea pigs. So they've gone too.Sold the item I listed last week on eBay too, thats all ready to go in the morning.Hope the rest of the weeks is as productive as today has been, I've enjoyed it so far.have a great Monday all xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I am sure there will be more that you find you can release when you unpack, that's my plan.
well, if you're really interested ...We've killed a large wardrobe today, having decided it really didn't work in DD2's bedroom we attempted to move it and the chipboard gave up. I'll take a couple of shelves and some fittings but the rest has been dismantled and will need to be cut up to go to the tip. I've rejected a few other things but it's mainly packing paper and card board that's filled the recyclables bin 10 days before collection (opps)there's stuff coming in too ... 4 deliveries due tomorrow and someone coming to fit blinds. We had a plan to unpack mornings and do something touristy afternoons, but it seems that's not happening, the kids are not so interested so we're pressing on. Some fun is being had - having realised that there's a mysterious hook above the newel post of the stairs, this is what DH thinks it's for:

Decided to do some more today.
One bin bag of shredding completed and hot rid of.
Tidied up the conservatory and organised the logs for the burner into the baskets I have. Not decluttering as such, but organising and it looks a lot tidier than it did.
DD will be gone tomorrow for a few nights so I will have time and space to do some more bits that I can't normally do.
Hope everyone is ok.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
