Been a brilliant day for me.Thanks to it being so much cooler today, I managed to get the two raised beds totally clear of things. Got all the weeds and plant things into bags for disposal.
Emptied a load of metal plant pots, they’ve gone in the recycling bin. Plus 2 other plastic pots.
Took all the hanging baskets down. Took all the wall baskets down. Found some of my decorative lizards had escaped from their places on the wall so rehung them all.
That was all I could manage today. Will be doing a bit every day until cleared but, due to my broken old body, I have to take it quite slowly.Final job for the day was sorting through my enormous stash of plastic boxes. Heavens to Betsy there are a LOT, well, not quite so many now as a big stack are going in recycling. Lids are warped or don’t fit or boxes are wrong sizes etc. So pleased to have finally outed that job. Have been ruthless and am only keeping boxes with a good fitting lid that will ACTUALLY be useful.I am hurting like mad but feel very good mentally that I have achieved so much (for me) in one day.Hope everyone has had a good day xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

@Moorviews @Liverpool_Anne @CRANKY40 thank you for your wishes about my Mum.
@CRANKY40 I’d really like to see the colourful snake when it's finished too.
@Willowtree222 You should be proud! I seem unable to go into HB and just get what I went for.
No decluttering today, I did however manage to declutter a significant amount of money as all three children needed both new school shoes and new trainers, plus DS1 needed new football boots. DS1 and DS2 also needed new school trousers. We went out to dinner too, the kids had a lovely day as they love the park there but I’m busted!

A busy day today, in no particular order; sorted out some veggies for stir fries, put the food shop away, planted two cyclamen, two more pending potting. Made some flavoured butter which is now in portions in the freezer. Half a pat of butter turned into garlic butter. The other half turned into lemon and tarragon butter. Mist coated some of the plaster which has been with out paint for an embarrassing length of time. Oh and built a clothes rail.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

@QueenJess good luck for the new job.
Up v early again and to avoid my work work decluttering was very tempting. Well more like with like but have cleared one drawer in the a4 Swedish small drawers, and corralled things which is good.and tidied up the chaos I made in doing this. 4 lots of paper clutter out and some plastic folders, , new scented candle I will very use and a dress in cs bag, 2 items posted back as returns and dried up highlighted used up.
Didn't get in garden or do housework but these can wait..more work work and some frogs hopefully tomorrow and tai chi.
Counting as 12 today.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday continued: DH went out for a walk & incorporated a visit to As** to top up on some vegetables & healthy snacks. 16:40 still overcast & no sun plus the breeze has picked up & is quite chilly. I spent a brisk 15 minute session with my magic machine & managed to weed the whole of the front path - looks better but not perfect 👌 DH got back from his walk - soaked & it hadn’t rained 😂 My main kitchen work surface is completely covered again so made a small start on clearing it by moving a few items from one cupboard to their correct cupboard thereby freeing up space for the open boxes of coffee pods. Also managed to find space in a cupboard for the vegetables (some of which will be used tomorrow) I now have some space on the work surface 🥳 Dinner was beef burgers in buns with cooked onions, lettuce, tomato ketchup & mayonnaise + a small portion of oven chips. Wudupa. DH went out for a short walk after dinner. I spent another 15 minutes in the kitchen sorting out stock pots & stock cubes as when I was doing the earlier tidying I noticed they were all over the place 🙁 seem to have overbought 😬 Now have a small tin with cubes & a larger tin with stock pots both back in the condiments cupboard & a slightly larger tin with the extras in the main food cupboard.

Mr V had a quick sweep of his wardrobe, a shirt and 4 Polo shirts taken to the charity shop.Donated them in a storage basket.
I also took the sweatshirt back for a refund. I thought it was white but the trousers have white go fast stripes down the leg which made the sweatshirt look cream. Bought a navy one and some bras that I don't need instead! Oh and some baby onesies for new Grandson due October.
Deleted all the emails to do with Mum's house.
Packed 4 smaller than a banana box boxes with kitchen stuff. 7 glasses/water bottles/mugs given to my neighbour.
Another 5 glass jars found in the cupboard and recycled.
Today's schedule, bed change, laundry then a few more boxes to pack in the kitchen. It is the dreaded corner cupboard next with all sorts of gubbins that is hardly ever used. I may not be best able to declutter today. Fomo thought we should be up at 4am as his 24hour diner was inexplicably closed. Managed to half sleep with him walking all over us and gave up at 8am.
Love to all Vx

Hello lovelies, gorgeous day here. Mostly spent doing jobs! Listing items on v1nted, a bag of craft bits and pieces, 2 bags for the charity shops. Yey! Plus the second hall is clean and tidy! Yippee12

Tidied away my 10 items today (items that are lying around to be sorted and never otherwise go anywhere) and it snowballed a bit. I sorted the free school uniform I got from Buy Nothing, but in order to hang it up I needed some more hangers from the loft. Whilst I was there, I filed more things up there, but also took a bit of a look through some of the boxes and managed to find some books to go. Scanned them into an app to send off for a small amount of money which also used up packaging. Whilst I was filing the school uniform in DD's room I also found some clothes that were too small to go as well. The house is looking more tidy than usual, so I think it is working! However, my parents are visiting next week, so positive vibes please!Digital:

Thank you for my medal.
As I was packing DD's case for her school trip, it became easier to sort out her clothes.
One bag for the bin that werent salvageable and one bin bag ready for the charity shop. Some still have tags on.
She will need some replacement clothes though. At least she now has room for the new items. Her wardrobe is once again organised. Probably only last a weekSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
