Also whilst in kent we made a friend with a fox which took us by surprise, we were in the garden packing away a tent and he was just sat watching us.

I live near the Kent coast and we see them regularly on the cliff tops and even in our road , we’re close to open country

Mr V bought new socks for the holidays. He didn’t like them. 15 pairs of socks will be going to Nottingham tomorrow for DSS. Also out, a carrier bag full of car cleaning products to a young man who has just passed his test and got his first car. 

 Got viewings this weekend. I have actually found a house with massive potential. Fingers crossed. Not my usual area but time will tell. 

Hope folks are well. I am very pleased to hear your sister has stepped up Wee Nancy. 

I am struggling with vertigo. It’s VERY inconvenient. I want to tidy my garden and do more washing.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m 
3. Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

Happy Thursday from a bright & sunny London - high 17°C, low 5°C. Typically, after yesterday’s visit to the bank, I received my PB winning cheques today 😉 I have written a menu plan for the next few days & a shopping list for DH & DSis. Now straight into cheerleading:

Brambling, fingers crossed that your sister is correct & that the cupboard door is an easy fix 🤞 although I am with you in having doubts 😉 As well as your painful hip, the mixed weather might be contributing to your need for extra sleep   🤔 This “I find crafting stuff difficult to declutter, so many supplies waiting for the right project 🙂” is so true 😉 now you just need to find the time 😅

weenancy, sorry to hear that your sister’s visit was so stressful 😥 although it does sound like it was a productive visit. I am astounded at how much ‘stuff’ has been turfed out of Di’s room, especially as only half her room has been dealt with 😥 Good luck with the other half 🍀 Just one thing I noticed & wondered about - why doesn’t Di do her own laundry 🧐 Great work at the doctor’s pressing for a particular test & being proved right 👏 Hopefully the meds will kick in quickly & you will start to feel a lot better 🙏 Good luck with the sorting in your room & the book sale which I think is on Friday and Saturday this month 🍀 but please don’t overdo it 🙏

_Dolly_Rocker_, so pleased to hear This “So back to almost full health” 🥹 regardless of This “which means the decluttering and getting my house nice and tidy is back on!” Nothing wrong with taking screen breaks & doing something else 😉 What an achievement by your dog Walker 🤩 & how great that she is helping you declutter by accepting clothing 🥹 Losing so much weight means she needs an entire new wardrobe which would be rather expensive 😥 

BlueJ94, sorry to hear This “so, I think my issue is I can't be bothered to sort anything as I don't have enough storage to put stuff away. So i'm thinking of getting myself a desk for the room and a wider set of storage draws to put stuff away! Now on the hunt to find a set of draws” 😞 Sending lots of positive thoughts & may your search for suitable storage be successful both quickly & cheaply 🤞

One more page caught up & time for a cuppa. DH & DSis left about 13:45. I did a quick whizz round emptying bins so

701 - 704 Office recycling, cardboard packaging, magazine, newspaper - recycled

I bit the bullet and paid £38 for storage drawers. No excuses now! I have tomorrow off work so will make a start on that room.

@TC77 I would put your stuff into the charity bag without offering it to DD2, your things are yours to keep or not, not hers.
@GrannyKate my whisky has one of those Catit fountains, so much better than a dish!
