Applied Wednesday, email received today to view a message. Don’t know if it’s an ID request or not on account it doesn’t actually work, two errors so far. I had messages through the same service when retrieving my login on Tuesday and it worked fine then.

Has Family BS ever launched a decent Regular Saver?

I have its savings account opened since Mar 2023 & min £100 balance. Bugs me to keep £100 there.

Historians of Reg Savers- what do you suggest, close the account or hope for a reg saver/ loyalty saver to be introduced?

Open a Market Tracker Saver (1), minimum now £1 and one to open speculatively in a downward rate environment given they can only move the rate 4 times a year.

Principality options - Might the remainder to an internal account seemingly being the trigger for a secure message (and subsequent refusal of the option for a new RS) potentially be, in part, because they would rather 'new money' paid into the new account, rather than the transfer of money that they already have i.e. from another PBS account? (Not sure if that makes any sense tbh, just pondering...)

By now, every combination of funding and maturity option has been tried and none appear to determine whether a request generates a secure message or not.

I was under the impression from forum posts that the remainder being sent to an external account has, thus far, failed to result in a secure message and refusal, whereas moving the remainder to an internal account has (sometimes? always?) generated the message?
(certainly, I've not seen anything to contradict that impression, but it's a very busy thread, so I may have missed it...?)

Don't forget that we should acknowledge the superstitious amongst us who suggest the wearing of a green shirt (or any green item of clothing) may sway the chances of success.

Waited long enough for the codes to both expire then tried again on another device. It was the welcome pack.

I don't think there was anything competitive on the RS front in the past 20 years, otherwise I would have had one at some point :) but still worth keeping your foot in.  You never know what surprise Family might bring.
