My Issue 3 Flex RS has its maturity date today. Interest has been added (£93.46). I have moved the balance plus interest out. The account is still showing as a Flexible RS which is preventing me opening a new one (now Issue 7). I can't remember what happened last year. Has anyone any recent experience of a Flex RS maturity and can recall when the account changes to an Instant Saver?7 -
Mine matured yesterday and I was able to transfer the balance out, and close the account, yesterday. It wouldn't let me apply for a new RS until this morning - but that was then a one minute job. It couldn't set up an SO yet as the COP isn't working until tomorrow but I was able to fund the new RS with an internal transfer from a Nationwide current accountHattie627 said:Nationwide BS Flex Regular Saver

That is what I was told earlier this morning by NW CS agent. I asked what would happen if I transferred all of the proceeds (inc interest) while it was still showing as a RS today, to my NW CA and closed the RS online. That's OK if you still have one of your 3 withdrawals available!ThePirates said:

It all seems to have gone OK and I then transferred all but £400 out elsewhere from the CA. I'll open a new RS next week, deposit £200 from the CA and another £200 on 1st Oct.2 -

If it's of interest(!), opened the RS 22/09/2024, funded it 22/09 & 01/10 and then by SO on 01/11 until 01/09/2025, so closing balance was £2693.67.Bigwheels1111 said:Hattie627 said:Nationwide BS Flex Regular Saver

Then open on the 30th next year to do the same. As you need to wait a day to open.0 -
I funded it this month as well and received £93.42 today. I can only assume the difference is because I had a standing order to add deposits automatically from my FlexPlus account on the 1st rather than doing this manually. Not complaining though.Bigwheels1111 said:Hattie627 said:Nationwide BS Flex Regular Saver

Melton BS - will they accept a secure message to close an account (Regular Saver 6) and transfer funds to the nominated account?0

Must be something to do with the SO dates! Strange that my SO was also from the NW CA, apart from the first two, which I made manually from the NW CA. Yep! A mystery.flaneurs_lobster said:
