There was a YBS email at the end of the week offering a new fixed ISA savings account but no mention of a RS. Maybe they'll roll out another email next week with a RS offer or leave it until savings week?WillPS said:YBS launched their £50 saver on Mon, Sept 9th last year. 2025 version tomorrow?
I seem to remember the details were all released in advance of the account last year, whereas all the messaging this time around seems to have been around Savings Week, which isn't for another couple of weeks.~ NSD 2025 - NSD October 23/20 (10 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - On Rest - 2 x £25 Vouchers Redeemed, 29 FREE Books of RM Stamps & 2 x Presentation Pack.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1278.68 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £20,075.12 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing0 -

My enthusiasm for these small RSs is waning somewhat. Unless it's 6% or better I'll be giving it a swerve.WillPS said:YBS launched their £50 saver on Mon, Sept 9th last year. 2025 version tomorrow?

This year's 8% offer at £50 a month & £26 in interest didn't attract me at all. I guess it was the 8% that grabbed people's attention.
Can't see any new offer being anywhere near 8% this year.0 -
I have come to a similar conclusion.subjecttocontract said:

Personally, I have space in Santander Edge for any money that doesn't go into RS.
If YBS offer £50 pcm at 8% for £26, after 40% tax that's around £16.
Alternatively it could go into Edge at 6%, which would be worth around £11 after tax based on £300 average balance.
So the net gain for the YBS account is £5.
Opening might only take a few minutes, but by the time I've logged into the app to keep an eye on it a few times and sorted out the maturity etc, it just isn't worthwhile.
I know everyone will have different criteria, tax rates and value propositions, but these are slipping below my "can I be bothered" bar.10 -
They've sent out emails advertising savings week, but no hint as to whether they'll be offering any good new accounts.Dizzycap said:

I'm guessing we won't get anything as good as 8% this year, but I'm hoping there will be something on offer.1 -

So I’ve just checked app working for me still, although as it’s up and running I don’t really need to use the app. I could check funds have arrived, other than that I don’t really need the app, until maturity, so not sure how they can class anything as non use as I don’t actually need to do anything now it’s up and running.Bob2000 said:MonBS APP EXCLUSIVE RS 7%
So yet another breakdown with the app. I was wondering if l could just delete it and use the online portal instead?
Already fully funded 2 months.
