Progressive login screen reads "We have sent a 6-digit access code to you by SMS or WhatsApp. It may take five minutes for your code to arrive." but the input just says to enter "6 Digit WhatsApp Code".

It took a few minutes to arrive and I could login, wonder if it detects those without WhatsApp and falls back to SMS?
I used to get a 2 min delayed SMS
Today no SMS, no whatsapp either.
Tried ''resend code'', still waiting for code to arrive, been 15 mins now
I've got a dumbphone, so no WhatsApp. I waited ten minutes for a code by SMS, then requested another, and now 15 minutes later I've received nothing.

    How ****** useless.
I just called them. I don't want WhatsApp or an authenticator app. It's far from ideal but they can give you the code over the phone so even without a smartphone you can still access your online account, during business hours at least.
Progressive. I just had a call from the lady who helped me earlier. They are now offering codes by email as another alternative to SMS (which is still not coming back). They can sign you up for this if you speak to them.

Thats great. Going to call them on Monday.

Saffron Members Month matured today, £626.46, so £600 funds + £26.46 interest.

Anyone know if it's awkward to open the new Members Month?, think I had issues last year.

Not awkward as such but long winded in that you have to fill out all details like a new customer, they also ask for an account number you currently hold.

Probably took 5-10 minutes to do and the account was visible online immediately.
Were you logged in when you did it? I wasn't asked any of these, they know who you are and your account numbers when you are logged in.
I wasn't, no. I did it on my mobile and as I don't know the password off by heart couldn't log in and not possible to apply in the app.
Seems like a better process then if you're logged in.online.

Curious to know if anyone has had a letter from Coventry about the £1,000 prize draw relating to the Coventry Loyalty RS (3)? Wondering if anyone has won?
Not yet, but I remain optimistic. The Ts and Cs state they will select the winners within 20 working days after 31 May, and notify them and pay out within  a further 30 working days. See clauses 9.6 and 9.7:

So do I! I would love to hear that someone on MSE was a winner in the prize draw  :D

I was chuffed when I won £200 in the December Sunny Day Saver draw. Which doesn't prevent me from hoping I may be lucky again in the Coventry Loyalty Regular Saver draw!

Just received a passbook proper for the Melton Regular Saver 5 (I was one of those that was given a card for the Adcock.) I guess issuing a passbook for an open ended Regular Saver makes sense regardless of whether a customer lives near a branch. It was also the third different branch (Oakham) to open an account for me, so it may be that Grantham are more likely to issue cards.

Opening took about as long as the others, so it looks like they have a consistent timescale and cope well during times of high demand (the Issue 6 and Adcock being best buys when I sent off for them at launch.)

The letter mentions a research agency they work in partnership with, so it looks like they have changed the way they obtain feedback and the surveys with prepaid envelopes are no more.

Congratulations with the Sunny Day Saver December draw :) Personally, I've never been lucky with these types of draws, so not hoping for a win anyway  :D

I'm just setting up SOs to go into my latest batch of RS accounts, one of which is Leeds Building Society. The Account number is longer than a 'normal' account number though.... To be fair I haven't tried setting an SO up yet, but pre-empting issues, I wondered how others have financed an account with LeedsBS? I've logged in online and it doesn't offer a debit card payment any more (which it did for set up).

Of course, it's only 4.8% anyway so I'd be better off shovelling my cash reserves into the 5%, £10k Nationwide Bond, but LeedsRS goes on until May 2027 which appeals to me given it matures in the following tax year.

THANK YOU!!! I couldn't see that anywhere on my dashboard or in the material I'd copied when setting the account up. I just made a penny transfer to see if it works, but am reassured that this is the way they advise too. I was a bit worried about the reference number as so many BS's seem to use a separate string of numbers.

    Thanks again.

I have miscalculated the amount of funds I have for my HSBC Regular Saver this month and reduced my standing order down and have now realised I could have met the full amount of £250. As the standing order is due tomorrow I can't increase the amount back up. Can I just transfer over the difference tomorrow to make it up to £250 or have I got to wait until next month so I can pay in this month's subscription?
