Nationwide BS Flex Regular Saver (Issue 5) at 6.5% to go NLA. Replaced by Issue 6 at the same rate.
Didn’t they launch that issue about 2 days ago? 🤣

Whilst Progressive BS have handled their system upgrade atrociously, they are more 'progressive' in terms of moving away from SMS OTPs. Passkeys and hardware security keys may still be too niche for widespread adoption, but authenticator apps—which exist as desktop apps too, e.g. Ente Auth, OneAuth, KeePassXC (guide)—aren't something to actively resist if you prefer web banking.

I don't actively resist anything techy that my eyes can read! So, would Progressive BS allow me to use PC versions of the Apps you mention above to logon? Or is it something either I and/or Progressive would have to enable asap?
I've used authenticator apps on a smartphone for years but never one running on a PC, so thought I'd try one of these out and try and swap my ProgBS account from Google Authenticator to EnteAuth.

EnteAuth download and setup on a laptop is straightforward, trying to change authenticator app in my Progressive profile (there's a button for this) produces spinning dots which have been spinning for 20 minutes, so I'm assuming that's broken.

In theory it should display a code either as a QR code (usually for reading with a smartphone authenticator app) or the same code as a long text string which I could cut'n'paste into EnteAuth.

    Well I tried.

Might work for someone who is setting up an authenticator from scratch but I can well understand that anyone who has cash in ProgBS and a working login method may not want to muck with their setup at the moment.

And, of course, in order to try to change your authentication method you need to be able to logintntn....
. My authenticator app with progressive only requires me to open the phone it brings up the approval screen instantly and with one swipe  it's approved
Very good. I was trying to use an authenticator installed on a laptop rather than a smartphone.

    Which app do you have?
    Salesforce

I'd give it a go, but see above about inability to change Auth App.

Curious to know if anyone has had a letter from Coventry about the £1,000 prize draw relating to the Coventry Loyalty RS (3)? Wondering if anyone has won?
Not yet, but I remain optimistic. The Ts and Cs state they will select the winners within 20 working days after 31 May, and notify them and pay out within  a further 30 working days. See clauses 9.6 and 9.7:

Saffron Members Month matured today, £626.46, so £600 funds + £26.46 interest.

Anyone know if it's awkward to open the new Members Month?, think I had issues last year.

No, not awkward.  Took me less than 2 minutes to open it online.

Not awkward as such but long winded in that you have to fill out all details like a new customer, they also ask for an account number you currently hold.

Probably took 5-10 minutes to do and the account was visible online immediately.

I rang them up to do it last year, as it meant keeping the same account number and bypassing needing to login online to apply (most other societies make it possible to apply for new accounts via the app.) You could also secure message for the same, if the matured account is still open.

For future reference the Members’ Month was added to the maturity manager at the 11th hour, so the easiest way next year would be to set that on say 1st June. Unlike some others, Saffron also allow the editing of instructions once they have been set.

I think there's clearly issues applying unless it expects me to wait until tomorrow to apply?
Also what is the qualifying criteria?
