Not had any issues with this in the past.

I did it accidently for my last one and there were no issues. Matured with £1400 balance and the interest looked correct.

If I may, could I suggest the matter be discussed on a different thread, if at all.
I wouldn't normally intervene in this manner but the forum team have already removed a number of posts about this already and felt the need to announce that they'd done this, I would like to avoid a repeat of this.
I'm not singling you out specifically by any means, I'm just replying to the most recent post on the matter.

Apologies, the point boiled down to if you are sending anything of value through the post, you should take reasonable precautions (COP) regardless of method, because you cannot rely on the recipient covering you if they don't receive what you sent. As the sender, you'd be responsible for any RM claim.

Unless my eyes deceive me, Monument and standard NBS RS rates have been reduced by 0.10%

Mine and OH are both at £1200 and due to mature February 2nd so no point in going for the 7th payment. To make life simple I've just cancelled the standing orders today - payments would have not have been applied until the 2nd (the 1st being a Sunday)
Ever the optimist I am not applying maturity instructions until last thing Sunday although I know the inevitable will happen.

This thread might be moving.
Just a heads up, one of the side effects of the new text editor is that when copying and pasting the listings from p1 of this thread into the archived thread the formatting goes a bit all over the shop (see the most recent post in the Archived History of Regular Savers thread).
The formatting seems to be alright when copying/pasting listings from posts that were created in the old text editor to other posts made in the old text editor. It also appears fine when copying pasting listings from posts that were created in the new text editor to other posts made in the new text editor.
I'm going to do a bit of experimentation over the next couple of days but I suspect I might have to launch version 6 of this thread soon, otherwise all the listings could well end up looking like this
I don't know whether I'll have to rebuild all the listings from scratch or whether I can just copy/paste/edit the listings and get them looking ok so shall keep you all updated on developments.
I don't think I'll need to re-launch the archived thread at this point as the only things that get copied/pasted into p1 are directly from a spreadsheet, which hopefully shan't be affected.
For those of you who are superstitious, yes today is exactly 13 months since this version of the thread was launched.

That's what @Bridlington1 stated here on this thread on 05-Jan-2026
and here's the post by @Speculator on 07-Jan-2026, which is probably where I first saw the link to the rate card

Yes I've done it twice and plan on doing it again next month as one of mine also matures 28.02.26.
Will be interesting to see what gets offered with my maturity instructions this time.
