I shall be inclined given the amount maturing in October... and I made the mistake of opening the Christmas RS on launch day when to delay that was less risky than to do the same with HEBS or Scottish.GetRichOrDieSaving said:

It won't work with West Brom, as the Winter Ready is account ends on 31st October and access funds on 1st November, irrespective of when opened.

Hooray!! Tried again via desktop and but still sent to phone. Persevered with passport and took my selfies manually and it worked! Just had the details through via email.UKX69 said:
I started the application on my desktop and switched to my phone part of the way in on recommendation of better ID photos. Perhaps I’ll see right through on desktop and see what happens. 🤔PowerSavingMode said:

Worst application I’ve ever attempted. ID system absolute rubbish-kept taking photos of my passport before I could line it up. Then many attempts at a selfie before being rejected. I’ll have one more attempt later, but not very impressed.
Similar to my experience — as a new customer. Given up for now. Might try a bit later. That's great! Unfortunately, trying a myriad of combinations and alternatives didn't work for me. BUT, the lovely customer service agent (don't know if can name names) at Furness was incredibly helpful when I emailed. So hopefully by tomorrow, if it's still available, I might just get 'on board'!0 -
Or I'd just say £160 at 6.75% for 18 days =53p (as your table shows)Bobblehat said:Here are the rough figures for funding 10 payments or 11 payments
For me it would be (at today's rate of 4.40% in my EA account) a difference of 19p.

Furness positivite for me.Due to other things going split my application and funding into 2 separate chunks today. This afternoon I opened the account on the desktop switching to the phone to take pictures of my driving licence and upload a selfie. No real issues but it you viewed the terms and conditions on the phone and then used the back button you then had to reinput the funding amount and where the money was coming from. Gave up after the first 2 docs. All the necessary emails to access the account online and providing the details for funding arrived promptly but I then had to go out. This evening I had issues with the CoP from Halifax. I used the details they supplied in the email which was to use an account name of Mr X X XXXXXXXX. When this failed I tried replacing Mr and my initials with my first name and lo and behold it passed CoP. Hope this helps someone.0

I think you may need to use the gross figure of 6.71% rather than the AER of 6.75%, as the account doesn't last for a year and there is no compounding of interest.Bobblehat said:

I also believe deposits will earn interest from the day of deposit should they be deposited on non-working daysI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2
