Anyone managed to get both versions of the Furness account? I had a paper form probably land on their doormat this morning and have opened an online version now also so waiting with baited breath to see if a 2nd one pops up.
I opened mine by post. When I log in to apply for another one the RS doesn’t show. It must be just one per person

The terms explicitly say only one 160th account per person.

It's not unheard of for a provider to allow more than one to be set up (despite what the T&Cs say) but here it actually states
This product is limited to one account per person. Any additional accounts will be closed, with the original account remaining open.
I await a report of an actual duality.

No issues opening Furness here online but the app would not stay logged in for me - opened the triple last week. Also no issues adding funds and setting up the SO - details recognized by Nationwide.

But I noticed that they have live chat via the app and via the online page so I used it via the online page and I was connected right away - I didnt see initially that the 160th was on the drop down menu for regular savers and not in a seperate section as I expected!

Using live chat is so much easier than having to ring a BS and give a dozen forms of ID before they will talk to you to give a simple answer to a quick query - some of the repetitive questions on this thread would not be needed if live chat was more readily available on BS websites.

In the meantime can any of the soothsayers forecast when we might expect a shiny new Principality 6 month saver issue 5 - letters arrived today to say I have 2 more issue 3s maturing on the 2nd of February but I am going to hold off putting in maturity instructions until the final hour justincase.
But cancel the SOs, assuming the worse as we are already 3/4 the way through January

There isn't two versions of the account? It's a single account which allows application via branch or online [or, unofficially, by post].
I phrased it badly but on a Monmouthshire account I ended up with 2 versions of the same account and my wife did on another one in similar circumstances as this

Can it be funded from 1st February onwards now?

No problem, and don't forget the 11th payment if you're inclined!

Is it not 10 payments max or have I miscalculated? 1 payment each from Jan to Oct.

I believe the account runs 10 months from opening so if opened today maturity will
be 20th November 2026 thus allowing an 11th payment on November 1st…..

    and yes, I’m inclined!
