I hope it's not going to become a trend  :#  :/  Overall, you really can't complain  ;) Online version opened & funded within 2 minutes (already a customer) - nice!
I'm sure someone will find a flaw to complain about, it seems to be the world we live in

I must admit it's the quickest account opening I've ever had

And from a Small Society, they deserve a lot of credit

All done and dusted in 10 minutes or less through app as existing customer. COP didn't work but still sent funds. Just waiting for them to show but will probably not be until tomorrow. App is basic but I actually like it as it does everything I want it to do.

Just spoken to Furness BS and they've confirmed the 160th Anniversary Regular Saver shall be made available to online applications tomorrow so it would seem they've not yet reached the target number of applications.
Good luck everybody. Let's see if the website can handle the pressure!
Anticipating this thread will have 10 more pages by tomorrow lunchtime :D
    Not far off! 😂

Definitely a dearth of decent RS at the moment so people are definitely focusing on this one.

Hopefully lots more new products and pages on here to come!

    no postal applications
no transferring existing regular saver to the new one

Wished I had taken a screenshot for about 15 minutes when it said you will get your account number soon, but I have now had an email confirmation and account shows in app. I will fund tomorrow when COP works as I entered £160 for initial funding amount. The email says I have 14 days so I am just happy to have secured the account.

There’s no point sending to an existing Furness account that passes COP given the delay in the payment showing. I opted not to do so last week in case online availability never happened.

It wasn’t the smoothest even as an existing customer, took a few times to recognise that I had read the summary box. Very glad that I opened the EA to become an existing customer as the website is obviously struggling with demand at the moment.

COP worked for me straight away!
    Thanks for this.

A fail from Chase when I tried before posting but a pass from Nationwide, so worth heading there for anyone who has an account with them.
I funded from Cahoot. CoP worked straight away.
