Arggh. I'm going round the houses trying to open a new Club Lloyds monthly saver. My existing one matured today into a Standard Saver. I can't seem to find the option anywhere to open a new monthly saver account. Is it because it's matured today?Make £2025 in 2025

If it gets onto moneyfactscompare's table before the online launch, it'll be ranked 5th as things stand, so might attract a fair bit of attention. If it doesn't get onto moneyfactscompare straight away, hopefully there'll be less risk of a crash!surreysaver said:
Assuming the website doesn't crash!clairec666 said:
Sounds like they've got a limit on the total number of accounts. If there hasn't been a massive take-up before the 20th, then I imagine there will be a bit of a rush once online applications open. How soon it takes for them to pull the account remains to be seen, depends whether they have an in-built counter or whether it has to be removed manually from the website.friolento said:Kim_13 said:
Hopefully the information Furness gave the poster re: accepting online applications from the 20th is accurate, as the download application form button sends you in a loop rather than giving you a form.friolento said:I'll wait for the 20th but if you are desperate, you can send your Furness application by post, apparently

I had also been on the phone to them, and they told me that I can post the application form or that I can wait until the 20th, when it will go online provided it hasn't sold out by then. I am going to take the risk and wait.1 -
I have several online accounts which also have passbooks. At least two people have been told today by Furness that they will launch an identical online version provided they are not sold out by then.jaypers said:
Says you get a passbook, so no online access? This would suggest no online applications on the 20th either.Kim_13 said:

Furness building society
Well, l hope their anniversary RS DOES go online on the 20th, after applying for an easy access account with them at the beginning of this week.
I've already got all excited once over the Scottish building society RS that never went online

I renewed one this week (converted it into an Easy Access) and opened a new Club RS immediately. Maybe needed a logout/login in between?Slinky said:Arggh. I think you may have to wait until the day after maturity to open a new one. Their systems don't show you accounts which you are not allowed to open, and the system updates overnight.1 -
To be fair, the top 9 were added as a result of me lowering the thresholds for inclusion on p1 of this thread so that'll've skewed the figures somewhat.topyam said:
