    I like others have received a large interest payment but also it appears they have returned my standing order for January, anyone else had this issue.
    I have one other payment to Scottish BS that is not showing but I assume that's due to a bank holiday in Scotland.
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    Scottish bank holiday won't be the reason, Scottish BS have been taking 2 working days to show payments crediting the RS.

    How strictly do they enforce the T&C's ?

    I was thinking that it was a Calendar Month type account,  rather than an Account Month. Therefore I paid the initial deposit in mid-month (Dec) and the second payment earlier this month.
    It also seems to imply that payment must be from a SO, whereas I did an internal transfer.

    Rubbish rate gets even more rubbish for a RS but probably still worth keeping going with £10 p/m until August for the prize draw entry (incidentally @Bridlington1 the link to this account in "no chat" says wayback no longer has that page saved)

    Yes, I only opened this for the monthly prize draw. Been paying in £20 per month. I will keep going despite poor interest rate. In addition to the monthly draws there is a draw at the end with bigger prize. You'd think I was a gambler (I'm not!).

    Yep, it’s like they think it’s an Easy Access or something. Their ordinary RS is even more uninspiring considering that as well as being nowhere near the top of the market, they would impose an interest penalty for a withdrawal unless it followed an interest rate change.
