They're obviously checking people's maturity instructions properly now, as I've been refused another Xmas 2026!
I suppose we're lucky they're not closing accounts already open that we shouldn't haveI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?9 -
Launch was 21st - mine matures then. I remember reading about the upcoming launch at midnight, but having to leave at 8am without opening the account, then opening it after I got home. As the 21st is a Sunday, I’m guessing those of you with the 22nd were sensible and looked at a calendar to make sure it would mature on a working day.mhoc said:Regarding Healthy Habits - mine also matures December 22nd so assume this was the launch date - 22/12/2023?
I know it is an exercise in futility but I will be doing my maturity instructions late on the 21st as I expect many will also be doing theirs that weekend - having not get around to doing their instructions until the last few days
When the office opens on Monday 22nd Principality will have a huge backlog of accounts to manually check - send messages, answer messages etc. The Welsh school Christmas holidays may have already started so parents will be on leave or trying to WFH .... will some of these last minute maturity instructions slip through the net I wonder ...0 -
Mine was opened on 21/12/2023. I always get them on the launch date, so 21st Dec is very likely to be the launch date for Healthy Habits.mhoc said:Regarding Healthy Habits - mine also matures December 22nd so assume this was the launch date - 22/12/2023?

I've done both, Healthy and Xmas-2025, this morning. No secure messages yet. just confirmations at the end of process:
"You've requested that £150.00 of the balance in your 2 Year Healthy Habits Saver Bond will move to your Christmas 2026 Regular Saver on 21st December 2025.
The remaining £1,121.45 will be returned to you.
Your balance doesn't include any interest which will be paid into your bank or Principality account."
I went for Healthy to morph into Christmas 2026 and Christmas 2025 into 6M. No particular logic in this, just a random selection.2 -
Principality RS Maturity failures
Having ten currently running I submitted three Maturity Instructions over the weekend to mature into further RS.
All three have been refused by message and that's my first time for refusals.
I'll be interested to see if those type of accounts I've been refused for are part of the postal offering when they drop through my letter box.5 -
Principality: It seems like it's a pretty consistent outcome. Would be good to hear from anyone who is successful going forward.2

Principality RS`s. Seems like a reasonable idea. Mine matures Sunday December 21. How late is it possible to do online maturity instructions remembering that Principality pay out on Saturdays and Sundays.mhoc said:Regarding Healthy Habits - mine also matures December 22nd so assume this was the launch date - 22/12/2023?

Two of mine completed on 5th Dec - still running. Two more were confirmed this morning I hope they will complete on 21st Dec, but who knows?masonic said:Principality: It seems like it's a pretty consistent outcome. Would be good to hear from anyone who is successful going forward.2 -
Principality
I submitted maturity instructions online yesterday (7th) for a maturing 6 mth RS 3, and I chose to put some money into a new Christmas Saver, the rest to a current account. I already have a Christmas Saver. The RS3 is due to mature 20th Dec.If they refuse the 2nd Christmas Saver when would I expect a refusal message or confirmation of my new Christmas Saver? Anyone have any idea?
Thanks.Digital Payback

Hoping that the RS experts on here can help/advise? I opened the Principality ‘6 Month Regular Saver’ late August (it is due to mature in Feb). Would I be able to open the Principality ‘Christmas 2026 Regular Saver’ now, or would I not eligible (because I already have an active Regular Saver with Principality)?0
