If it’s matured, the account is done and finished.Aidanmc said:Just a quick query regarding Halifax RSMy RS matured and balance automatically moved to my existing instant saverThe RS remained with a zero balance, but when i try and deposit into RS i get a error message saying i've exceeded monthly limit. Is there a way around this, or just wait to 1 April
Open the new offer and fund that.
Or open a principality reg savers £200 a month for 6 months at 7.5% not Halifax at 5.5%
Market Harborough 6.0%, West Brom 6.0%

Try renewing the account into an EA account, from there you should be able to close the account and then open a new regular saver from there.Aidanmc said:Bigwheels1111 said:

did it open an Everyday saver automatically with zero balance? If so, close it to avoid this happening in the future.Aidanmc said:Bridlington1 said:

Suffolk BS:
As a new customer, Is it likely that opening and funding the 'Online 1 Year Fixed Rate Regular Saver (30.06.2026)' RS on the same day is possible, or are there likely to be delays (e.g. waiting for things through 'snail mail')?
Co-Op Bank:
Similarly, as a new Co-Op Bank customer (and therefore having to open a current account first)? I seem to recall discussion about 'issues' with the Co-Op, but can't remember the details - was this re. difficulties/delays opening accounts?
As far as I can see, the 'Cashminder' bank account is sufficient for opening their RS - is there any point in opening the 'regular' CA instead, if the only reason for opening the CA is to get the RS?0 -

I would have an existing Everyday saver, but i'm going to close than now....thanks0 -
Co Op Bank in totally is a problem imho. The Cashminder account is enough for getting the regular saver. If you have no further intention of using them except of utilising the regular saver there is no need to get yourself a hard search when you can have the Cashminder account without. The current account is only useful when you want an overdraft.SJMALBA said:Suffolk BS:

Co-Op is slow. Apart from an overdraft, CA would only be useful if there's a switch offer going. But there isn't at the mopecunianonolet said:

So do you mean if I took out the full 5000 from NatWest reg saver in march I could put the full 5000 back in before the end of march but after march it would revert back to 150 per monthWillPS said:
Not universally true.Dizzycap said:
Unfortunately, any monies withdrawn from a RS can't be relaced at a later date. I hope that helpspecunianonolet said:Quick question, Santander and Lloyds regular saver.
I put 200 into Santander and 250 into the Lloyds regular saver but had to take the 200 from Santander out and some of the Lloyds regular saver. I am reading their withdrawal terms but I am not sure if I can within the same month replace those funds e.g. put the 200 back into Santander. Apologies if it is obvious but been a looong day....
Virgin Money specifically allows it. Natwest/RBS don't stop you adding funds back in the same month you took it out either.
I have taken money out and replaced a few times - I withdrew over £1000 early this month and have since replaced it all. (I have been at the £5000 balance for a while)5
