Yes, I couldn't log on via Chrome this evening. I had to use Edge instead.allegro120 said:
Has anyone experienced problems with accessing Melton's website recently? I couldn't login from the beginning of this month. Had to phone them to check the arrival of funds to Saver 6. I use Chrome and also have Safari, none of them worked. Tried again just now - Chrome still doesn't get me there, but Safari worked.1 -
I logged in about 6pm and all ok, on chrome. Just checked again, using chrome once more, and all ok.10_66 said:

Just opened a TSB regular saver, alongside a new TSB current account. But I can't seem to transfer from my TSB current account to my regular saver. It wants a standing order, but not a one off payment in.
Has anyone else had this tech fail? I guess it must be some sort of limiting feature, but I just want to put £250 in it now and then set up a standing order from next month.0 -
Have you tried setting up the regular saver as a new payee from the TSB current account rather than doing it as a transfer?WindfallWendy said:Just opened a TSB regular saver, alongside a new TSB current account. Well, I didn't try that as I didn't feel I should have to 😄 I have now set up a standing order for the first of every month, and will pay in for this month from another account.Bridlington1 said:

Pretty sure I could have probably just set RS payments up without needing to send it via TSB current account, but feel I should use it, since it's there.0

Has anyone done the natwest digital saver round up trick? Could they close your savings account or is it just frowned upon. Thanks All0

Yes, I've made a lot of £1.01 payments for double roundups. They won't close your account for doing this - roundups don't violate the t&c, on the contrary - Natwest/RBS encourage customers to use roundups.devansuk said:Has anyone done the natwest digital saver round up trick? Since the recent "upgrade" that allows X5 roundup I've been sending a penny between a couple of PayPal accounts once or twice a day, payment from my linked NatWest debit card. No other activity on this card.devansuk said:Has anyone done the natwest digital saver round up trick? Could they close your savings account or is it just frowned upon. Thanks All
Probably could go mad and do 99 payments in a day (think that's the max allowed) but think that falls under the "Taking The P1ss" clause in the T&Cs. Not sure how PP might react too.
I wouldn't worry too much, if RBS/NatWest were to start sanctioning people for this then it would be reported on here pretty quickly.0 -
It depends how you use your Paypal account. If the only payments are the penny transactions it is much riskier but if you use your Paypal account more frequently and for other transactions and also with other cards it is easier. Still, if you plan to do 99 transactions, spread them out 10-15 or so at a time and leave some breaks in between. It could trigger fraud checks and you need to give a reason and justify what the transactions are for (had that once) and it was resolved within 20 minutes without any support involvement.flaneurs_lobster said:

Much more complicated if you plan on doing 99 for Natwest and 99 for RBS in one day...0
