Received an email today advising that I should be able to choose my instructions via the app.
Well these instructions aren't available on the app or online.
Remind me please - is it normally the next day this option becomes visible?
TIA
I can't do it via the app yet. It clearly states "This will be available up to 14 days before the maturity date". I diarised the action accordingly, we'll see what happens. Last time I arranged my renewal on the phone because the online option didn't work.

It does indeed go into an easy access account.where_are_we said:Yorkshire Building Society - I have not had received maturity instructions for my Loyalty Regular E Saver @5.45%. I made my first deposit on 22 February 2024. I presume it goes to an easy access savings account after one year ie. 22 February 2025. On that day I will withdraw the balance and open a new one. I see the interest rate drops to 5.25% on 11/3/25. Because this account allows one withdrawal, I will open a new one as 5.25% is still competitive.Has anyone else not had a maturity warning email?
If you transfer it out on Saturday I’m not sure if it will arrive until Monday or Tuesday.
West Brom is 6% fixed.
So taken that out a second year Instead.

Thanks for saving with us - we hope you've been happy with your Loyalty Regular eSaver. account.
We just wanted to let you know that your Loyalty Regular eSaver. currently paying a variable^ interest rate of 5.45% Gross* p.a./AER** is maturing on 21-FEB-2025.
On 22-FEB-2025 we'll automatically transfer your savings to our Easy Access Saver Reward, in line with the terms and conditions of your account. This pays a variable^ interest rate, currently 4.40% Gross* p.a./AER** (correct as of today, but as a variable rate product this is subject to change).

4.4% is not bad, though. Better than some who transfer it to a 2.75% account. Useful for a holding account until you start withdrawing into something better.Bigwheels1111 said:

If it helps anyone with YBS withdrawals at the weekend I have found they are one of the few banks that if a withdrawal is initiated on a Saturday it arrives next day (Sunday) into the account requested.7

Regarding Saffron I left a secure message on the website yesterday and they have accepted maturity instructions by this route - £500 into a new regular saver and the residue back to my linked account.
They also said that the account number will remain the same so you dont and to cancel your standing order, just alter the final dates.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Thanks, did likewise and received confirmation within half-an-hour. Great service even at 4.75% interest.0 -

Progressive
I see according to Bridlington's archived T&Cs that the Progressive account has daily free withdrawals
"Can I withdraw money?Yes, you can make unlimited withdrawals from your account."
It's getting down to the point where I might start to ditch them so will think about it0
