My regular saver was showing with interest on the morning of the 31st so requested it all sent to my nominated bank account, now looks like I wont see my money until Monday the 5th.
My WestBrom morphed today (£3098.80).  I requested to close the account.  I think they are doing it manually so Monday is the earliest to receive funds, but we should still get 2.35% for the cash drag days.
The thing is, mine matured on the 31st and had gone from the website the next morning so I can't see it earning any interest until it arrives in my bank account.
    West Brom Regular Saver Maturity

Same situation. Matured on the 31st. On the 1st I moved £5 from the Access Regular Saver to an easy access account (to keep a relationship) and requested the rest to my nominated account.

The new easy access account was approved and opened the next day (2nd) with the money transferred. Still yet to see the main payment to my nominated account, which I think should arrive by CoP on the 5th.
Seems several people are awaiting matured funds to arrive in nominated accounts today.

Has anyone had they money credited yet?
No, but I've just received a text message "Hi, your withdrawal was successful, and your account has now been closed".

Saw 3 pages of new posts in 2 hours and thought some fantastic new RS must have been released, the Principality Green Shirt New Year Saver or some such.
Well to put that right for you:

West Brom have launched a Winter Ready Savings Account at 6% fixed:
Can be opened online or in branch
    Matures 31/10/26
    £100/mth max
    Max balance £1k
No withdrawals permitted until the end of its term.
    West Brom

Bridlington1 - my Regular Saver Issue 7 matures tomorrow so good timing
    Applied online now awaiting confirmation

    Darlington

To throw my 2 penceworth in - not aggrieved, not bothered, happy for them to take their time and sort it out in their own good time

My RS account is still showing 1% despite putting in £150/month since Sep. Someone mentioned theirs is now showing 5.5% as expected, is this the case with everyone?
For me the bonus interest of 4.5% has been paid on top of the 1% interest, however the account's interest rate still shows as 1%, presumably because I haven't met the criteria for earning the bonus rate for 2026.
I’ve only received the 1% interest (£1.08), no bonus. Will call them on Monday to get to the bottom this.
Send a secure message. They respond quickly, and it saves going through all the security questions palaver.
    Good idea, will do. Thanks!
Struggled to send my message, it seems to not work unless you attach a file... anyway I phoned and the nice lady said they were aware there's currently a glitch on the system affecting regular savers accounts which means they would have to manually update these accounts.  They are currently half way through the list which would explain why only some of us have got the bonus interests. She suggested I check my account again tomorrow.

OH has his Cambridge Extra reward regular maturing later this month (and mine matures early Feb)- just checked and he has not had an email and no letter yet re maturity instructions so can anyone remember what the procedure is please?
I received an email (only), that 11 calendar days before maturity. SO yo may have jumped the gun a tad. There was a link to click on, to "Maturity Manager", IIRC it allowed me to transfer £300 into a new ERRS and have the rest paid out to bank. New account was opened on the day the old one matured.

    All worked fine for me.

    What are my options?

As your Extra Reward Regular Saver (Issue 2) matures you can choose to:

    • Transfer your balance to an existing Cambridge account
    • Reinvest your savings into a new savings account
    • Withdraw all or part of your balance
    • Leave the balance in your maturity account
And, of course, it retains the account number of the maturing account if choosing this maturity option
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Honestly, how many of us have actually been inconvenienced by Darlington's error?
Probably very few... other than those who hoped to be able to withdraw the overpayment of interest and get away with it.

About the same amount as those members of staff who are actually responsible for / able to fix the issue I suspect. The majority of the staff shouldn't have been expected to work through until it was fixed on the basis that it isn't fair to punish the majority for the 'crime' of the minority.

Whether Darlington are worthy of complaint, for me, comes down to whether they have blocked withdrawals as well as closures (but as I don't need access to my funds for a few months, I'm not willing to burn one to find out.) If withdrawals of cleared funds were blocked as well, that would be unreasonable, but 6% interest on £1,250 for 5 months (rounded up) would be £31.25. It would take a very sudden and severe change of circumstances for the lack of access to a sum of that order to cause a problem.
