    Hi all and Happy Friday!

Totals updated to here. I now have £246.09 in my pot.

Well done on the £1 gammon @Matron_Midge. I'm glad you will be off to a good start for next year too.
    @greent - sterling work!!

If anyone is with Sk-eye and has their app, there is a VIP section where they have a weekly offer link up with Sainsbobs for free stuff. Some weeks it has been a TTD pizza, this week it's TTD crisps. You redeem a voucher to use at the till. Just thought I'd mention it as only just found this out despite being with them for a number of years!!

Still haven't got any lamb on offer. Did go to A$da on Wednesday but only to collect an order and completely forgot to look! Have felt rubbish all week with a head cold and cough, so putting my muzzy head down to that!!

    Have a good weekend all

    Hi all,

Bit later posting today as had a day in the office. Another £5 sent across to my pot which now totals £251.09. I'm thinking of putting the final 2 x £5's in next Friday as don't want to be doing any online banking on Boxing Day!!

Totals updated to here. The end is in sight. If you've been saving and not posting your totals, please do drop in and let me know :)

    Another £5 for #2
I’ll be leaving my direct debit alone to keep ticking over to the end of the year and continue into 2026.
nice little pot to dip into now and hopefully I won’t need to dip not it for the Christmas groceries cos we’ve had a week of freezer diving (interesting to say the least) but that means I’ve only bought fruit, bread and milk for 2 weeks. I think I can eek out for another week of the same and -thanks to meat offers from coxy - have already got our festive meats ready to go. I feel like a winner 🤗

I added the last two fivers for 2025 to my pot last night and the grand total is £255 (I started a couple of week late)
It's probably going towards a new pair of specs.

    Hello Fiver Friday subscribers,

Not long now until year end, so I've transferred £10 today for 19th and 26th December. That brings my total saved to £261.09 as I received a little interest.

Really happy to have stuck to the challenge this year and tbh I haven't missed the fivers each week. I don't have any definite plans for the money as yet, but do need some new everyday clothes, so will be shopping in the new year sales if I can face it.

Well done to @madlyn for completing the challenge too - new specs are so expensive, so I'm really glad your money pot is going towards something beneficial.

Please continue to post your updates here until year end. Will start a new thread in between Christmas and New Year for anyone interested in joining.

    Merry Christmas all!

  • #2 I’m in again with another £5. None of it touched still so I am hoping to start strong in the new year.
