Thanks for the info. Yes I estimate 6 PCN’s total, so a further 4 to come.

I have sent my appeal off on both PCNS using the registered keeper template on the newbies thread and have been reading through the NTK compliance section trying to make sense of it and struggling, so far I think their wording is correct though

I have attached my NTK for further context and to ask if there’s any wording I have missed that doesn’t comply

The £100 a pop charge is in yellow on that sign
So does this mean I have no defence then and I’m best just paying the fines or?
Of course not! You have no fines. You won't contact them nor pay a penny.

That entrance sign is neither lit nor prominent, so of course you can't see it in the dark.

Come back if you get a court claim. Tell them if you move house within 6 years but that's not parking law, it's just obvious common sense.

You'll already know, if you have read the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread, to ignore all '£170 per PCN' joke threatograms.

And you'll already know, if you have read the second post of the NEWBIES thread, that if they issue a court claim (in the highly unlikely event of losing at a hearing) you'd pay LOADS LESS than the claim.

If they sue you in court,  they will sue you as the RK and on the probability that you were driving.
But we all know that's an unlawful assumption and not worth worrying the OP about. So what if they are sued? That's when cases are won!

    But to the OP:
...why don't you just park on-street overnight when visiting? Change your mindset. Avoid any private land like the plague.

I would literally never ever use a car park overnight, not even in London!  Most restrictions end at 6 or 8pm in plenty of streets in every city.

Never seek out a car park, like naive old people love to do - drives me mad...!
    I repeat my advice above.

Appealing was pointless but probably a better stance because the Judge will prefer that you tried to engage. Stop now though.

You can't appeal these because the IAS isn't worth using. It's a kangaroo court where a solid 95% of decisions have gone in favour of parking firms for years.

Quelle surprise, given the 'adjudicators' are considered likely to be the same jobbing solicitors & barristers who represent this rogue industry at hearings.

Appeals services must be impartial and can't use decision-makers with a vested interest in the consumer losing but from our experience that's what the IAS appears to do. And as for the Annual Reports from the so-called Lead Adjudicator Bryn Holloway, those introductory mutterings have included embarrassing rants against the DLUHC and blaming consumers whilst praising parking firms during COVID.

Keep your address fully updated with the 'scammers' and their thug agents if you move, so you see the court claim in good time. See you then.

I have now received a letter before claim.

Am I right in thinking this letter should be ignored until I get a court summons through?

    Thanks

So there was a total of 4 PCN’s billed by Euro Parking Services.

3 of them have been bunched together in this letter which I assume means my court summons will group all 3 together?

I am expecting one more letter before claim for the 4th PCN sometime soon

See Post 2 Small Claim in NEWBIES Announcement thread on how to respond to your LBC/LOC
Thanks. For the LBC response, under claimant would this be Euro Parking Services Limited or Gladstones Solicitors Limited?

Also it states to search for relevant solicitors emails on the forum, I have found Gladstones general enquiries email on the bottom of my LBC, should I send my response directly to this email?

Thanks and apologies if these questions are obvious

So just to confirm, for this part of my LBC template response:

    Your Ref. ############
    Proposed Legal Proceedings
    Claimant: xxxxxx xxxxxxxx Ltd

the claimant will be Gladstones Solicitors?

No. They are just third party solicitors. They are who you respond to but they certainly aren't 'the Claimant'!

You won't get a 'summons' either! Claim form.

£180 added for ONE template letter! And the government actually seem to think this 'extortion from motorists' can carry on!

Anyway, while your case is at the easy stage:

    FIGHTBACK ALERT:

Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline.

    See this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-now-extended-closes-friday-26th-september/p1

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

    CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.
