I also complained about this.
If your rushing or distracted for any reason ADHD you you can easy buy to much on this.
All lottery purchasing should be default to single and increase as you need.
They claimed the had done a survey.
Well they need to re survey.
Or announce these changes on there tv ads or on Martins tv show or run it buy his team 🤔

What would you suppose the advert say? ‘Check what you’re buying before paying’? I feel that’s quite good advice generally.

I have ADHD and fed up of it being used as an excuse for people’s shortcomings.

Just used the app and had an alert that The National Lottery HAVE made this change on purpose where all draws for the week are selected by default. I always check what I'm buying but I don't agree with this change. I can't see how this can possibly help with any guidelines around responsible gambling.

I have also complained. The issue I have is you cannot remediate an error if you only wanted to buy for one day.
For all those who say user error - good design means you shouldn't add burden to your user or consciously allow errors. 
It is a way to extract more money from people.

I nearly got caught the first week, now I automatically change it to one play.

Shouldn't be playing online if it catches you more than once.  You can always go to the shop.

When I select play last numbers all days are greyed out and I have to choose which I want
