Like you say - you've gone through the pros and cons and at least your debt is more manageable now. Just leave the big telly in the shop!

£800 per month matched betting though...WOW!!!

Oh no, the big telly will be the main feature! ;)

It's hard to explain and if it was anyone else I'd tell them to wait, but it's not about money!

You have to do what's right for you. You have already done amazingly well, so maybe it's time you went a bit easier on yourself.

I could put my life on hold, and probably pay my debts back a lot quicker, but I'm not prepared to do it. Yes I got myself into debt, and I will get myself out of debt, but not at the cost of life. Maybe that makes me a bad DFW, I dont know

What I do know is that my dad died at 38, my mum at 46. I know more than most how bloody short life can be, and I'm going to live mine as best I can :D

Do what's right for you......as long as that means you'll still be on here from time to time ;)

But thats it Spudly, no-one should feel they have to put their lives on hold. There is no right or wrong. Everyone is different. The way I've been going was right for me at the time. Now it's not.

It sounds like a corny cliche but life is for living. Not being a prisoner to debt. :)

Exactly. I mean surely I can reasonably kit out a flat for £4,000 ish!

Bedroom would be done with £800 or so. Thats just quick Argos browsing.

Say £500 for a TV! :D How much are sofas?

Then a few kitchen appliances. What else do I need? :rotfl:

Sofas are about £300 upwards, but you can often get BOGOF deals. You could even manage without for a while, if necessary and just get the essentials - big telly, kettle, mugs microwave and a bed :D

And of course I'd 'need' a laptop coz I wouldn't have room for this desktop! ;)
