That's defeatist talk and not allowed, even if it is your diary. Of course you will get your own place- prices will probably stay static a lot longer than June. Keep going, you're doing brilliantly and you WILL get there. Anyway, why aren't you considering matched betting to give you a hand

Just focus on getting it back to December 2008 as quickly as possible then you are no worse off than you were to start with ... June was just a dream you say ... once you get it back to December you are back in this year, and then anything sooner is a bonus

Right OK! Re-focused.

My early target of being clear of credit card debt isn't affected. So if I can find an extra £450 this month and next, that'll all be clear by the end of Feb which was my target.

That will also be 2 months ahead of what the new snowball calculator says and will knock a month off my debt free date! :rolleyes:

But you didn't ignore it. You can look at it two ways.

1. The whole interest was there from the start, and every month you kill a month's worth of it.
2. A month's worth of interest appears every month, just in time to be killed by your payment.

You chose option 2. There's no reason to suddenly choose option 1 after however many months is there?

They both work out the same in the end - you pay off the loan.
