    I have yet to find a decent garlic press. We have a parmesan grater and use that. Works very well ;)
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    You don't need one of those - just use the flat edge of a cook's knife.

    We forgot to get a tin opener when we first got our house, before the days of ring pulls :o

    SS I'm one of your lurkers and I second Bubbles re Freecycle. Saving up and using Freecycle is what the rich folk do. Some of the Freecycle groups near me are heaving with IKEA furniture and Bosch kitchen machinery. The money saved can go on wining and dining and whatever that rhymes with.:p
    Good luck with your homehunting though - you've done fantastically well on the debt-busting and the next chapter will be just as successful.:T

    Although I hate Ikea! Went there once and couldn't find the exit. :eek: It's left me scarred! :o :rotfl:

    Same happened to me in there, I decided that they have a moving exit to keep you in there.
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
