Another very good total. Above is the total for 3 August 2025
Knowing that there are many posters having different times I am going to continue to try and post something positive each day, be it a photo, a story or some act of kindness or wisdom I’ve experienced.
So my positivity for today…. A week or so ago I was lucky enough to watch the local Mencap group perform an hour of songs at the Bandstand in the local park. It was one of the best and unexpectedly awesome hours I’ve experienced in a long time. The hour was full of total joy and positivity. Were they perfectly in tune? Not in the least. However, the performers were so full of joy and happiness I was moved close to tears. So much love and support for each other and real pride in performing to an audience. Not a bad bone in any of them. For that single hour there was no hate and anger in this little corner of Towm. The memory will live with me for a long time.
Thoughts with anyone going through tough times at the minute. There is always something good in every day.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 53 -
What a lovely post Antomac, I love moments like that which; in these somewhat twisted times, can really renew your faith in humanity. I always get emotional at things like that, although I can cry at anything... I usually cry at the opening of the football match and I also remember crying when we went to see the 'Tour de Yorkshire' all those years ago.
My PAD today is £244 to various places.
