I know that Principality Building Society  are currently  doing one but are there any other Building Societies offering them?

@Bob2000 It is likely but not yet confirmed that Yorkshire Building Society will offer a Christmas Regular Saver in early to mid January 2025 that will mature on 31 October 2025, if the last two years are anything to go by. I don't think any other building societies (or banks for that matter) are currently offering one right now but it is entirely possible that one or two of them will also release a Christmas savings account of one type or another (i.e. not necessarily a regular saver) early in the New Year.

Surely any 1 year regular saver can be opened prior to December to mature in time for Christmas ? It doesn't have to be called a Christmas Savings Account.
Makes sense, also likely to have higher interest rate than a specific named one
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

It could have been differently named and/or structured but this is what they decided to do.

Some kind of hybrid of marketing and social good I guess as it's FSCS protected unlike a lot of Christmas saving club schemes and if it causes people to think ahead it may avoid them getting into debt to pay for the festive period. Unless they cannot afford to save for Christmas because they are paying for the last one.

Yes, that's why l wanted one for next Christmas.
Seems daft to block people from saving with Coventry if that's what it's aim at.

Yes, but I couldn't give a sod about Christmas to be honest, it's the regular savers I'm after and I couldn't care less what they're called.

Principality BS have given me 2 Christmas regular savers this year with a third likely, I've got Coventry's Seasonal RS in the pipeline, hopefully YBS and Furness shall come up with something again shortly, possibly others? etc.
