I’ve unsuccessfully appealed a non payment parking fee.
I have a DRP letter requesting £170 for ‘non-payment’.
I have a DRP letter requesting £170 for ‘non-payment’.
Can I safely ignore this given I paid parking?
Rather annoying but a tad bullying in their written tone.

You can safely ignore debt collectors letters regardless of the circumstances, nothing to do with payment or not

As advised above, it is perfectly safe to ignore powerless debt collectors. Do not ignore a better of/before claim. Come back to this thread if that happens.

Debt collectors are bullies but guess what it works with the unwise so they carry on.You do not have a debt though, and they don't own it, it's all alleged, so the bullying dimwits can be ignored.1

After 12 years of assisting people with these issues and the fact that only the data controller ( parking company ) can try to enforce the invoice through the civil justice system ( not the 3rd party debt collectors ) , plus never seen a court claim from a debt collector either ( the dvla would not be happy about it )
We can safely say that anyone can ignore powerless debt collectors letters, because they are not the claimant client, the private parking company is2 -
