same here, had the 20% and the free delivery applied but not the 10%, not bothered though as got the cole and mason set I have been after for ages and some school blouses for less than the price of the cole and mason set was.0

I have at last got to speak to someone at Debenhams after having no reply to my emails. I was told that I could only have one of the discounts used, and as they have only applied the 10% if I wanted to use the 20% I would have to cancel the order and submit a new one via the website and use only the 20% code. I have cancelled my order and will not be making another one. Grrrrrr!0

So peculiar - at about the same time as you were phoning Customer Services, so was I. And the girl I spoke to was great, didn't even question it, just said "Oh yes of course, I'll refund you the difference". The fact that the difference is only just over £3 might have swung it in my favour!
But it's just not consistent, is it? Maybe they are allowed to 'use their initiative', provided you don't p**s them of too much by yelling at them!

There are no working codes out there at the moment afaik :mad: Wish there was as there is a sofa I need to order and 20% off would save me a good few £££!! If you find a working one please post

Tried to buy a dinner service in the Blue Cross sale (70% off) but they had limited stock so I ordered on-line (used 10% & free delivery code).
The e-mail from Debenhams Direct says in small print "This is not order confirmation or order acceptance.... order acceptance will take place on the despatch to you of the order invoice which takes place as your product is shipped."
Unfortunately the larger items arent available on-line so I had to go back to the store for those, not knowing whether my on-line order was accepted or not!
A week later a total stranger lands on my doorstep saying five large sacks have arrived at her house (same house number - completely different street!), and as she was out at the time they'd been dumped in her back garden!
When I opened the sacks every item was in a separate box with nothing to say what was inside, so even though I could count that the order was short, I had to open every box to find what was missing!
Im now the owner of a dinner set comprising cups, saucers, mugs, side plates, soup dishes, desert bowls, serving dishes, gravy bowl, cream jug, sugar bowl etc etc... and only two dinner plates!
So far my e-mails have been ignored, although they've been very quick to charge my credit card!
Sent a VERY snotty e-mail earlier today so lets see what that brings, though I will never, ever use them again.0 -
I've just phoned Debenhams to enquire about a T-shirt I ordered but haven't received, Big Mistake.
I spoke to some very snotty woman, who instead of looking into the whereabouts of my order began telling me I had used codes on my order I wasn't entitled to began reprimanding me.
I hope she hasn't the authority to now charge my credit card the money I saved using the codes, as I thought I had got away with using the codes on this order, as I had placed the order 15 days ago and until this missing T-shirt all had been charged correctly on my credit card.0 -

I've made about 8 different orders since the sale began online and have always used codes for % off in combination with free delivery. All have been delivered on time and all codes always honoured. I've even used the same delivery code about 4 times!
