I stocked up today in Tesco on my regular shopping day so it looks like I overpaid by 42p for my 6 bags.  Would cost more than that in petrol to go out shopping again.

I think sprouts have a bad press but I don't know anyone who really likes them.
I've been doing my parents' online Tesco shopping since covid. Last year I ordered them a big bag of cheap sprouts for Christmas - they liked them so much that in January they wanted more!

I like a bargain as much as anyone else, but this is getting absolutely ridiculous now. There is a cost to these silly games they play, the question is who ends up paying it in the end?
My guess would be consumers with artificially inflated prices afterwards.
The farmers growing the veg I'd expect.

Not sure where the 8 pence info came from but veggie prices at Aldi are still 15 pence, I have just been there. A bargain , anyway

No, just seen on their website at 15 pence

Lidl are cheaper- but they are not local so wouldn't be money saving to drive 24 mile round trip.
