That sounds like old-school ADSL, not even FTTC. But moving to 30 or 60 would be a big improvement. To repeat @littleboo 's question, do you really need 500 or could you save a fair few quid by choosing something slower?Jobbydooze said:

As above, it sounds like ADSL. 2 x streams doesn't need anywhere 500 Mbps, the internet would grind to a halt if it did0

It;s £31 for 500 and only £3 less for 150mbps so not much in ot figured i'd go fo the faster speed as its a 2 year contract
