I am being chased for damage payment that I have already paid via their link they sent me. They are saying they cannot find the payment and have asked for evidence. I have sent a PDF of my CC statement showing payment. I have sent them their link which when clicked on says ‘This has already been paid’. I have another chaser email saying their accountant cannot find the payment. This is getting extremely frustrating and annoying. Has anyone been in this situation and have any recommendations please?

So this is for something in Austria? (just trying to understand it....)
Can you CC company give anymore details that would help them trace the payment? Reference numbers, confirmation of date and time of transaction (which may be different to what's on the statement). Send them that along with screen shots of the site saying "this has already been paid".
Once this has been provided it's up to them to look at their suspense account for the payment. At that point it's their problem to sort out as there is little more that you can do.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Yes, I once had a vaguely similar issue with Sixt, after a rental when a breakdown callout was logged and then cancelled by myself before it arrived, having resolved the problem myself meanwhile. This was processed erroneously in their systems as some kind of incident involving damage and I received repeated communications from Sixt demanding details. After I explained very clearly and firmly why there was nothing to report and they would hear no more from me, I heard nothing more from them.

As above, just send screenshots of the payment and the link showing you paid it.
It is their duty to find the payment as long as you paid, which you have.
All you can do is show proof of payment as you have paid.
