@Coupon-mad I added the extra bit in, thank you for that!
I have just emailed the defence, will update when I get the response.

I think you are telling us that the Issue Date on the Claim Form is 19th November and that you filed an Acknowledgment of Service on 25th November. Is that right?With a Claim Issue Date of 19th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 23rd December 2024 to file a Defence.
'Dear Sir / Madam,Thank you for your claim response.I am returning your response as you have sent it after the permitted time limit.As a result, Judgment (CCJ) has already been entered against you.'
I find this strange as please see the below timings:
I believe that I sent the defence within the allowable time? Should I contest this CCJ? Is that best done via email?0 -

Hi all, just to keep you updated on this, I rang the MCOL help desk last Wednesday they agreed that my defence had been unprocessed and I needed to do a follow up email. Following this I have received two letters and the MCOL portal has been updated. Please see below images. Not entirely sure but think DQ is defence questionnaire?
1 -
DQ = Directions Questionnaire.
Now you are back on track, keep following the guidance in that checklist you were using when you filed a Defence.2 -
Could you also complete some answers to this Call for Evidence?
Deadline in two weeks:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81070874/#Comment_81070874It's just been re-opened due to the change in Government. We must go again with it and your case is important.
Your experience should be taken into account. You don't have to answer every question but you can answer some, and provide insights and evidence about what happened to you at the hands of a system that positively enables scam parking claims but commonly ignores Defendants' emailed defence. DJ Etherington has had to do loads of these cases but nothing is improving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad - happy to put forward my evidence regarding the parking claim. However, I have never done something like this before so will need to read up on a few of the other examples to ensure a robust submission.
If I assume correctly is it these questions you are referring to?- What the current level of delay in the County Court is; the extent of any regional variations; and the effect of delays on litigants and the administration of justice;
- The ways in which the County Court engages with litigants in person, and how this could be improved;
- The accessibility of the County Court for people with disabilities;
- The condition of the court estate, and its effect on the work of the County Court;
- The use of technology in the County Court and how it could be used to improve the service provided by the County Court;
- The effect of the court reform programme on the County Court, including the new Online Civil Money Claims service and the Damages Claims service;
- The current level of fees and the approach taken to costs in the County Court, and how the fees collected are used as part of the current funding arrangements for the County Court;
- Whether there is sufficient judicial capacity in the County Court, and current steps to improve judicial capacity;
- Whether there is sufficient staffing of the County Court;
- The causes of action giving rise to claims in the County Court;
- The current procedural mechanisms used by the County Court to resolve disputes;
- The quality of data available on the work of the County Court; and
- What future reforms to the County Court should be considered.
