After that, ignore them BUT TELL THEM IF YOU MOVE HOUSE WITHIN 6 YEARS.
Is it likely they would ever take this further? I’ve seen some posts regarding PCC that never go to court?
No idea what PCC means, this is Ocean Parking. ( Anchor / Care parking. )

Never say never, you can definitely tell us that answer just before Xmas in 2030

Sorry, I must’ve used a wrong acronym. Just meant parking company basically. As above Ocean are yet to go that far so I’ll take my chance.

I would say ocean will start litigating soon with Moorside just like ukps/saba/ukcps are doing.

I’ve seen some posts regarding PCC PPC ( Private Parking Companies. ) that never go to court?
If you study this forum more closely you will see that most of the threads are about court claims started by Private Parking Companies, many via legal service companies. These days it is normal for private parking companies to store up tens of thousands of PCNs and then give them all to a legal services provider for legal letters followed by court claims using MCOL. This has now reached epidemic proportions since Covid hit a few years ago

PPCs issue some 12 million PCNs per annum and probably issue tens of thousands of court claims, clogging up the system

Even many of those who currently haven't tried court claims seem to be jumping on the bandwagon

I have no doubt in my mind that Ocean will join the feeding frenzy

Never say never, not in this game. !

But we do always say 'it's defendable!'
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So these comments now make me think it may be just worth paying it? Frightening for a young new driver to start getting court letters? The appeal was rejected as expected.

Obviously not. You will pay nothing in the end.

This is not frightening at all.  Defending is easier than appeal and there will never be a hearing.
