Glad you booked your holiday.. Something to look forward to!
Keep going on the new business plansDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks LWAP, Jwil and Lucielle
Holiday will be late June. I paid a deposit on a CC today - then further payment around my next pay day, and final one early April. I'm still using a CC - as I'm hoping to pay the electrician cash so keeping £ set aside for that. He responded this evening to something I sent yesterday so hopefully that will happen.
Today I made it to an NT property. I used a giftcard from September and had cheesy bacon wedges for £3.50. I also picked up a 3D card and some lemon shortbread for £8.50 between them although the latter was disappointing. I had a brief wander around - but it was bitterly cold - and I'd left my coat in the car. Took me all afternoon to then warm back up!! On the way to and fro I also voice recorded myself - for potential use on my channel. Ai will even transcribe it for me - although some of the results are pure comedy!!
I then tried out my new camera/phone stand when I got back. It is really solid and does exactly what I wanted. So I then recorded myself making art. I should be able to split the videos into different episodes - but I now need to learn to edit and how to tell it I'm recording in landscape so I there's less to change after. Feel like I'm learning loads though which is positive. Not ready to upload anything yet.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Subtitling is pretty much essential for video these days to ensure that your content is accessible I think. I frequently look at stuff (mostly on insta, but sometimes YT as well) when I'm not in a position to use sound, and a lack of subtitles guarantees I'll just move on to something else, although of course the accessibility for deaf people is the more important aspect. I'm need to make more efforts towards ensuring I add descriptive text to photos as well - I'm shockingly bad about that!

Great to have a holiday to look forward to. Really helps when it's cold here to imagine the warm Mediterranean sunshine.3

Thanks Mark. I agree - some of the AI stuff was frighteningly good. Frightening in the sense of future job security! Today I disappeared down an ASD money rabbit hole - vaguely connected with my channel - but partly seeking reassurance that even though my theoretical net worth has been eroded by recent spends on the house - it's not the same as part CC fritter spend - so therefore okay...
My recent spends on my potential business have also spooked me... but i want to persist with that.
Thanks EH TG and Blackcats
Others advocated for the holiday spend so I feel okay about that... My brain is weird...
I reviewed my investments and pensions on Friday - and they have had a very happy month. Not sure what's gone on but even my recent S&S investment of less that 2 weeks had gone up £96 on £5K which was a very pleasant surprise. Even though it only pays interest annually - it was also showing some accrued interest on my new ISA too which cheered me up.
Today I managed to return 5 items so over £50 on its way back to me... 🥳 🎉Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
