I check mine before midnight. It is quite weird because it tells you how much but tells you the last month. So last month I won £250. Just after 11 last night it told me I had won £200 for August. So it isn't properly updated but if the figure is different from the previous month you know it is correct. Can you tell I am not known for my patience!3

Good news on the car insurance and it won't be long before you break through the first k barrier and have it under 11k._Dolly_Rocker_ said:My nephew did this so my Sister had to run along to Asda to get him stuff to wear to his first day at high school.Spendywendywoo said:Just catching up - sorry to hear about your car but sounds like you have sorted a great replacement and the insurance news is great.
Re school uniform, it's such a stress isn't it, glad you've managed to get some pants ordered. I can't believe how quickly the 6 weeks have passed this time.
Great progress with your PADS too
It has gone quickly and I don't feel like I've had a proper break this year!Debsnewbudget said:If you have the Premium bond app then you can check for any number of people just after midnight.
I check mine and all the grandchildren
I don't have the prize checker app, but I have the normal one which shows mine and the kids accounts in the prize history. Maybe I'll consider it, thank you!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Mine's always nothing. The last time I won was in 2023 😭 DH and the kids have been luckier.

I've knocked another £80 off the bill as I got the charging cable cheaper than I'd estimated. I think that's all my estimated costs covered now, so that should be the final total!
My car is gone and I got £100 for it, so I'll PAD that tomorrowI've also received a £5 voucher as well from a survey so I'll PAD the equivalent as well.
I haven't been on plan at all today, and have been a bit flakey since Thursday, so I need to stop now, and get back on it tomorrow. I think I'm just a bit out of sorts with everything. I don't want to lose all my good work. I'm really tired today, so will probably just go and lie down and listen to my audiobook."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Good news re the £100 for the car and the survey voucher, hope you are able to get back to your eating plan x1

To be fair to all those with school uniform malfunctions there is a fine line of buying early enough before stocks run out but late enough to allow children to grow like weeds during the summer holidays which they do seem to do.1

Epic PAD today which will give me the best month of the year! It's the £100 from the car, £5 survey voucher, a small lottery win plus a round down of an account. It's great to be well into the £10ks on the car now.
I'm motivated to get back on plan today, so that's good. Walked little miss to school and will of course have to walk to pick her up later, unless I send little jwil, which will depend on whether my meeting beforehand drags on."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
