Happy Friday! I'm so looking forward to a morning of peace! DH will be home at lunchtime. I've been out and walked the dog this morning, and will soon be walking to school so that's my exercise sorted. I tried to tidy round yesterday, so I don't have loads of housework to do, so my plan is to just chill out.
I've transferred the money for the car now, so that's all paid for. I checked online yesterday and it has a new MOT and should have at least two new tyres by the looks of it. So I just need to tax it and pick it up now!
I've sent over another payment to the CC this morning as my account was looking healthier than expected after paying for the car. That will be the back pay I got this month. Not counting it as a PAD though as it's not 'extra' money."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". The backpay has definitely helped this month!

Well I now have my new car and I love it! My fears about driving it were unfounded. It's so easy to drive and so smooth and quiet. We got it from a town about 20 odd miles away, so I had a good drive to try it out (which was also what was making me most nervous).
Unfortunately yesterday wasn't such a great day, as I spent all evening in A&E with little jwil. He'd fallen in PE yesterday and it turns out he'd fractured his wrist. Luckily not too badly, so he's got a splint for the next few weeks. It's obviously pretty painful though poor thing.
What with that and my general anxiety about the car this week, I feel exhausted and completely drained, so am planning on a day doing absolutely nothing tomorrow!
My DM has managed to find me some school trousers for little jwil, so that issue is now also resolved thankfully! The first pair fits fine, so I've ordered a second pair.
I lost 1.5lb at SW today which was a lovely surprise. I've had several off plan days so was hoping for a maintain at best. Although I didn't win the SOTW, I got the basket as I was the runner up and the winner hadn't stayed, so I have another nice pile of goodies which have just given me a free meal. It will hopefully help offset the McDs burger and coke I had at lunchtime!

Glad you love your new car. Sorry to hear about little jwil’s injury, hopefully he’ll recover quickly. Well done on the 1.5lb off 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
