Well that's a nice PAD total to end the month. Happy payday!
I've updated all my spreadsheets and done the money shuffle. It's been an expensive month, and August will be the same, but hopefully we can pull it back again after that.
I must keep on top of surveys as it's lovely being able to PAD extra. I've not really got a lot to sell, so surveys are the best way of getting some extra cash at the moment.
I'm hoping for a quietish few days. DH is muttering about taking his bike out so that will mean I can just get on at home. I don't want to be too spendy before we go away.
As it's the end of the month I did my body measurements this morning and was very pleased to see they've all reduced a bit! I'll try and do it at the end of each month to track my progress.
Plans for today are to just chill. I need to fit in a walk or a workout at some point, but I might do some gardening instead if the weather isn't too bad. I'll try and aim to do 15 mins at a time of tasks."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I often used to use body measurements when I was losing weight as I was a very slow loser, usually only half pound a week with the occasional pound. Quite of lot of Maintains as well so at least with taking measurements you can feel something is happening.
With regard to the snacking I used to keep things like veg sticks and cherry tomatoes, as well as fruit in the fridge so I had something to snack on. If you want something sweet Mikado sticks aren't too bad (0.5 syn each on SW - at least they were when I used to go). I also had the problem of giving up smoking at the same time as trying to lose weight so often needed something to do with my hands when I wanted to smoke!

Fantastic pads this month , I have been doing this since I came across your diary into a jar and have managed to save enough for a new washing machine , I knew mine was getting old so just through what I could spare in the jar , so happy not to have to take out credit so a big thank you from me ! I always have fruit and veg in, but they weren't doing it for me the other dayI've heard about those Mikado things but never tried them. I might look out for them - thank you!

I've had a productive morning, I do like having more energy! I've hoovered through the whole house, cleaned the bathroom, tidied a bit in the kitchen though it was mostly done, washed and dried the sofa blankets, watered the plants, and sorted the clean washing and distributed it to everyone. I've then been out in the garden and done 20 minutes out there weeding - it's surprising the difference it can make in a short period of time. The kids have visually tidied their rooms so I could at least get in and hoover."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Happy August! I've had a nice start to the month with my PADs today
We're meeting friends later and I'm going to pop and see relatives first so a busy day today.
The dog doesn't appreciate the change in routine on a Friday where DH leaves the house at 5.30am so I walk her instead of him taking her out at 6am. She was sat at the bottom of the stairs yelping this morning for me to get a move onIt must just be that DH has gone out without walking her, as she never minds a later walk when he's here! She also has full access to the garden via a dog flap so it's not like she can't go. It does mean that I've got my walk in though so that's a good start to the day.
