With a Claim Issue Date of 15th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 18th December 2024 to file a Defence.

That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

I wrote some defence wording about the Equality Act this afternoon. Copy that into the Template Defence like the other poster.

Ok so I've written to my MP and historic Coventry. They have emailed back and said they will try and get it reduced. Ive just replied and use the info coupon mad has written reminding them of my rights. I've also emailed parking control asking for all my data,I need the times etc. I think they're also breaching data protection, they need to ensure they've given a sufficient grace period.. without interacting with drivers this cannot be measured. This would mean all requests breach the act. I'm considering complaining to DVLA.

Thanks for help guys, really appreciate it.

Errr... but you have a court claim and the clock is ticking. Just copy & adapt the defence I advised you to search for & use.

Your defence is the priority or you'll get a CCJ.

I have made a start on my defence any feedback would be appreciated,

    3.  The defendant has rheumatoid arthritis and if affects almost all her major and minor joints. The defendant has had both hips replaced (one has a plate with five screws) and has degenerative wear of neck and spine. This causes significant pain and has a big impact on her mobility, she is registered disabled,  has early retirement from work due to ill health and has a blue badge and car is disabled class(appendix a). The defendant is prescribed numerous drugs for her condition and pain killers which have side effects which include dizziness and nausea. Defendant recently widowed too.

    4.     The defendant has always used the fields to let the dog get some much needed exercise. Over the last two years the fields which were left to the people of Coventry have been put in the care of Historic Coventry whom decided to monetise the car park to deter all day parking by students etc. When they were installed they allowed one hour free parking (which is not clearly signed see appendix B) then charges would accumulate. For some reason the timing parameters were not working properly and the defendant was inundated with PCN s for just being there 30 minutes, The defendant did speak with a parking attendant and Historic Coventry who both admitted there was an issue. Therefore, the defendant cannot recall whether or not times were exceeded but if they were, on separate occasions the defendant has fallen over in the grounds and was not able to get up without assistance, other occasions frequent rests and sitting on benches is needed to manage the short walk. The defendant is registered disabled and has made the claimant and Historic Coventry aware of this and yet they have failed to make reasonable adjustments, allowing a longer grace period because the defendant needs extra time due to walking speed, feeling unwell and allowing for micro breaks

You don't need paragraph 4 IMHO.
