    I asked Hudson Reed/Roxor

the caddy is not at right angles and won't fit neatly into a right angled corner.
    Their reply;

Once the bars go on behind it , it will stand proud slightly , the basket is on a slight angle due to this
but once fitted the back of the basket will fit flush into the corner

thats the best way to describe it , once its all fit together it should fit within the corner

That is a load of rubbish in my opinion so I replied; (the quote button won't work on the next text)

That reply does not make sense to me.
The caddy needs to be at right angles in order to sit flat on the bars.
Your own technical drawing, ll308_misc_v3_ld, shows the caddy at a right angle.
Every other similar caddy from other manufacturers and suppliers that I have seen is at right angles.
The similar design caddy that I am replacing is also at right angles.
I will return this caddy to Heat&Plumb for a refund and, if they are unable to supply me with a caddy at right angles, I will look elsewhere.

I am having trouble with the last post.

I will ask Heat&Plumb to send me another caddy and see if that one is 90 degrees.

I don't think I am being unreasonable about this.

There is a picture of their technical drawing a few posts above.

It seems to me (as no expert, I hasten to add) that the bracket either has to be ninety degrees and therefore have a gap in the corner, or it's slightly less than ninety degrees and the corner can sit flush. The thickness of the brackets is the distance the shelves will be away from the wall, so you'd have that gap all the way into the corner if it was at ninety degrees, unless there's a "dimple" in the shelf to clear the bracket. But, you're quite right that the drawing shows the shelves at ninety degrees.

    Update:

Heat&Plumb have agreed to a full refund and told me I don't need to return the faulty caddy. I will donate it to a local charity shop as we don't want to have it even for free.

We may now consider a single caddy. Any opinions on this one?

Cassellie Corner Wire Soap Caddy – BSK00

For some reason I can't imbed the URL link in that text so here it is below.

    https://www.thebathroomaccessorycompany.com/products/cassellie-corner-wire-soap-caddy-bsk001?srsltid=AfmBOoqDeu-iqvaXGjHiI-0UAnoIiDpqa_bveJVky1q8qe26bqXqOHy0

It claims to be chrome plated brass. I have seen it from other vendors who all also state chrome plated brass.

I am slightly nervous at the low price and would rather pay more if that gets me better quality and better rust resistance.

    Thanks

Edit: Having had a closer look this Cassallie caddy might not fit. Our shower corner has a 1.2cm slightly curved chromed internal corner and isn't a true square corner. That corner joins the rear and side wall panels.

The Cassallie sides meet in the corner. I need one more like the HR below where the sides are slightly short of the corner.

Here is a Hudson Reed single caddy. I would only buy this if the supplier guaranteed that it was 90 degrees.

I think you should look again at the Robert Welch caddy I posted before. (I'm sorry it's an expensive option)

There is a gap at the back in the corner, it's solid stainless steel and crucially ours is a 90degree corner.

We had a complete about turn on the caddy.

We used to keep all kinds of junk in the previous 3 level caddy, most of which was rarely used.

My wife saw a Croydex caddy that attaches to the riser rail and said 'That will be fine for us if we don't put all the other junk in the shower. Let's buy one and see how we get on.' So we did and we are happy with it.

We found it at Screwfix for under £15.

If it rusts or corrodes after a few years we can just buy another one.

Below are some before and after pictures. The tiles in the old recess were 20 years old and very difficult to keep clean no matter how much we tried.

The new shower was deliberately placed slightly off centre so that the shower head was central.

    Thanks everyone for your contributions.
