Thanks Casper Gutman. I have ordered one from heat and plumb after following your link. Its just what I want.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

Likewise, we have a chrome-plated brass shower caddy after having rust issues with chromed and stainless steel after a few years' use. We have a Hudson Reed one. Ours isn't a corner-mounted design but they do do the kind you're looking for - e.g. Hudson Reed Large Shower Basket | LL308 | Various | Chrome (heatandplumb.com)
Hi all. The caddy arrived yesterday. Unfortunately it appears to be faulty. Here is a copy of my comments to the supplier and to Roxor/Hudson Reed. Pictures are also attached.

What do you think? I can't see how this can be installed satisfactorily without looking odd.

Hello, I have just taken delivery of a Large 2 Tier Corner Basket
Code: LL308 from Heat Plumb in Stanmore.
I have offered it up to the 90 degree corner of my shower cubicle and found that the baskets are not at 90 degree but are only about 80 or 85 degrees. They will not fit flush to the walls.
    I attach some photographs.
There are no installation instructions. I presume that I have to allow for the 5.5mm thickness of the vertical support brackets but a guide as to how far from the corner to drill the holes would be helpful.
    Please advise.
    Thank you

He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

Hmm. It's definitely quite noticeably out of square, which is disappointing. Only you can assess whether it would look acceptable if you installed it, but I don't think it would be unreasonable* to request a refund. You'd be legally entitled to one even if the product was perfect, assuming you bought this online, regardless of the seller's refund policy - Online and distance selling : Distance selling - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).

I'm not sure I'd have expected any sort of guide as to where to drill the wall though. Can't you just hold the thing up to the wall and see where the holes end up?

Thanks Casper. I presume you meant to write 'I don't think it would be unreasonable to request a refund'.

I don't want to install this unit as it will just look odd. It is clearly supposed to have sides at a 90 degree angle.

A guide would be useful although it should be fairly straightforward to work out the hole positioning.

Holding it up to the wall is a bit tricky as it comes in four parts. Two trays and two thin (5.5mm) vertical brackets.

I installed a similar caddy many years ago and I forgot to allow for the thickness of the vertical bracket so my first hole was 5.5 mm too close to the corner. I held the tray to the wall, forgetting that the trays are pushed out by 5.5 mm in both directions by the brackets.

Hopefully I will get that right this time. I will hold it up to the wall, mark the hole position and then make a mark 5.5 mm further out and double check that is correct with the brackets also held up to the wall. I will need about 4 hands to do that.

We brought 2 of these back from Spain about 10 years ago and they are still going strong (12 euros each).
We seem to get ripped off on prices in the UK.

Are yours at exactly 90 degrees angle?

Heat&Plumb, my supplier, have just emailed me,

This has been reported to the manufacturer's warehouse and awaiting an update within 24-48 hours.
Please rest assured that we take your complaint seriously and we aim to offer a prompt solution.

At least they appear to be taking some reasonably prompt action so I will wait until the manufacturer responds.

The only solution I want is a replacement that is at a true 90 degrees.

Well I've not measured them but they look to be 90 deg & fit the wall perfectly.
I'm fairly certain they will send you replacements.
